Full View and Please Read before commenting oh you may or may not read the first paragraph/spoiler though ( just contains a 'lil bit of me and my rantings)There is a secret code in the wallpaper you wont see it if you dont fullview it! . The code doesnt go along with the atmosphere of the wallpaper, it rather cracks the emotional factor XD Find it if you can and please dont complain why it cracks the emotional thing of the wallpaper ^^.
Finally I finished it, sorry for the wait guys! There are a couple of reasons why it took me a while to finish this wallpaper and here goes: 1. I dont want to be grounded! Ever since the start of the vacation all I do was sit in front of the computer around 8 hrs a day doing anime stuffs. I only took a break when eating which is only 15 mins then resumes the the PC and also sleep. My parents are starting to scold me. Then my brother underwent operation ( just a minor one ) so need to help out --> no straight walling 2. There was also around 2 whole days when I didnt wall because I was watching soul eater *I'm glad I didnt get caught still awake around 12mn or else I would have been banned of the PC * YEA* we have curfew T.T 3. I kinda got addicted to Furuba manga right now and I recently got trofi's VK addiction too. 4. It's not clamp so kinda dragged me.... Oh well so much for the ranting...
The scan was from here. I always want to try something new so I tried reconstruction here ( If that is the right term - I mean redrawing parts that arent present). I had to redraw the legs and the skirt. Then I tried changing the color of the girls because the original scan's color looked kinda monotonic. As you guys might have notice some of the hair in the left and right girl doesnt have lineart, I intended to let them be that way.
I let my brain explode in the BG! At first I want to add cakes pastries etc.... and books but the colors kinda looked odd when I added the cakes. See the process picture ^^. I removed it because it would look like the focus or the first thing you'll notice is the food because it deviates from the emo color of the picture, so I removed them and just retain the books. I thought of stopping in the middle where they just lay under a white sheet of cloth with books and papers ( see the process where I would like to stop), but I dont felt satisfied with it. so I added windows and a shade of red-orange for a sunset feel. And poof it's done.
What I like in this wallpaper is the hair of the left girl and her eyes <3 Hardest part was shading and how to make the tips of the left girl feathery.
I appled what I've so far learned from the previous wallpaper - add contrasts or darker shades. Hope it's nice enough.

I saw how you made this wall. I have no idea what the manga/anime is. But, I'd like to commend the effort you've made. I like how the hair came out and how nice and clean they look. The shadow of the window is a nice touch, although it could have been better if they followed the contour of the bodies of the girls.
Overall, it's good and a fave in my book

Nice wallpaper.
Overall it feels soft and calm. It's very relaxing. The extension was done well. I didn't notice it until I viewed the progression. I like what you did with the background. You transformed it and made it your own. Man... I just find shadows of window frames on cloth so appealing.
Not sure how to accurately support it but the characters feel stiff instead of fluid-like. I am guessing it is because the characters are not shaded as much as the original scan. They don't feel very round. The book's text is not in perspective with the page. Any vertical straight edge should be parallel with the page's edges. Funny joke you've written lol.

I love the color style. The soft tones of the colors are working really good together. Your vectoring is good as always and nearly flawless. The details are great and the little joke of yours is really cool. I guess I need to go to sleep and hope that it happens to me LOL Fav+

I'm going to follow what Tens said earlier, but that doesn't mean I'm not impressed with what you've done this time ^^. A little more shading on the charas would have been nice, but it doesn't really clash as it is now when you full view the wall. I'm glad you chose something other than Clamp again. And I know how you feel, my parents are exactly the same :p

I think the vector is really well done. I like the choice of warm colours over the cool colours the scan had. I think it fits the subject matter better. I like the notebooks you scattered around the bed(?) too. The feathers really add to the softness of the scene, along with the shadows from the unseen window. I personally thought the joke was really cute.
Perhaps what I'm most impressed with is the creases on the bed. With the way you made them, it didn't even look like the pillow from the scan was present originally. If I hadn't have taken a look at the scan, I wouldn't have known about the pillow at all. Very nicely done.

wow i love the colors its so realistic and original i never seen a picture so nice before the two girls really fits in this picture because they really show the theme here which is "ditchin' homework" i really like the way you make the bed look so soft hen the two girls fell to their bed. this picture is simple but i love it it really caught my attention simply perfect but still simple keep up the good work !! xD

Wow,this is really nice...I like the soft coloring of it,and all the details around them,like those feathers and books...I do think it would look better with some more saturation,the colors seem too pastel to me,but good work on it overall + fave

The colors used in the wallpaper suit well with the idea of ditching homework and the progress is the thing that makes it amazing because it needed a lot of work for this result. The only thing that worries me a lil is the position of the books. Maybe they needed more shading? but the window effect was a nice finishing touch. Anyways, it's a fav for me. Keep up the good work!

whoa, nice reconstructions i couldn't really tell untill i saw the scan. i really like the new colour scheme u used , so much more pelasing to the eye than the scan you should make a seperate vector with those snacks *u* anyway nice work xD the shadows from the window is a realld nice touch *u*b

perfect! totally reminds me of my school days and how i Ditched my homework in the past. i had more fun rolling on the floor rather then study... but to be on topic. what can i say? love the whole concept of it.
