Hello .. finally after a long trial period I can upload my Pita Ten Wallpaper .. I hope you like it! My intention was to make a cute wallpaper, using sepia tones .. I think that gives a tone of peace .. I did all the background using brushes and textures .. I do not know what else to say .. xD

simple sponge cake with whipped cream or mousse filling with pecans mixed in it
yeah, but I mean the butterscotch flavouring? Is the cake itself butterscotch flavoured?
then that would be easy to make as long as you know what kind of frosting they use
But if I make it again I'm going to change the recipe, I didn't like the Cake batter the recipe used, too heavy.

Image choice fits the background but there are quality flaws to it. The extraction is not perfect. White bits can be seen on the edges and on some parts, the outline is jagged. On the hair, the outlines is dark on one side and disappears on the other.
Scan lines are also visible as well. Effort should be put into removing it before using it for walling purposes.
BACKGROUND
Background choice is commendable but certain elements do not fit in. The feather sticks out like a sore thumb and doesn't fit well into the overall flow of the design. That should go. The green shapes by the wall does not blend well since its solid green design contrasts badly against the more natural theme of the vegetation farther back.
The rose plant behind the character looks to have extraction issues as well if it is part of the original scan.
TEXT
Blend it in by reducing opacity and maybe also testing out the different blend modes. Maybe also moved it further down and slightly to the right.

I can't see the sepia at all, but that unvalidates criticism about that entirely!
When I read you used brushes I was apprehensive about the background looking like cheap CG but it actually turned out really well. I keep wondering what those climbing roses were climbing, but there's that stylized look which somehow render it natural likt that.
This wallpaper's weakness then is just Kotarou-chan's figure itself. It looks collaged on, and whilst this is great if that is THE look it seems to me not to be here.
