I was just browsing and playing on FB when I got bored and all. Suddenly, I saw this wall of @sjade1 promoting the competition that they are hosting. Well, I was not doing anything anyway so I decided to create a simple wall using Sasuke as the main star of it.
BTW, Sasuke was vectored from this particular image:
That's the actual size of it. LOL. >:3 I was too lazy to find larger resolutions for it. Hahahaha.
Anyway, I outlined Sasuke first and then adding the base colors. Then I added some shadows. After adding the shadows, I looked up in Google a nice image of his Sharingan and then I applied it to his left eye----only. ^^v I just wanted to keep the wall simple and clean so I just aimed for a graffiti BG behind him. After adding some textures and then adjusting the lights----VOILA! Here is the finished product. (XD)

The STORY BEHIND the concept:
Sasuke entered a BIG graffiti painting competition. And so, he does not want to lose. He put war marks on his face to indicate that the battle has just begun. Oh and, WELL----he does not want to stain his shirt so he is painting with no shirt on. Hahahaha. LOL. (I guess this goes out to all the bishie lovers too)

I really like the way the skin was colored, but I feel like the outline is way too thick and his hair is too blurry. I don't feel as though the background really matches the main image, but I love what you did with the eyes. Awesome.

Even though it's...Sasuke.. /(O_O)/ I really like it. I think the line on his chin is kinda thick though. I love the marks you put under his eyes. They are a really nice touch. You did a great job on his eyes and I also like how you added the text in the other eye. Very cool indeed.

cool man i love the wall because it contains sasuke he is so cool. i love the work it is a very rare wallpaper.the work is done very neatly. thanks man for making this wonderful wallpaper and i really hope that in future you will make more naruto wallpapers and specially with sasuke.so thanks man. wish you good luck and happiness.

Wow, it's a nice wall! I especially like colors used. But it laks some details on his ears and hair... But it's a really great wall and BG is fits well!

you know what? i prefer you put the monochrome version as the main wallpaper, and add more depth esp in his eyes and his body, look a bit flat on those parts...and if this isn't sasuke i'll fav it XD

I still don't believe that you vectored that image. /(oOo)# I only have to say that Sasuke is soooooo sexy in this image, and I loved it! (XD) Nice job, the bg is very cool, and the monochrome version is very great too! ♥

well the vectoring is nice. But like others have already said, the outlines are a little too thick. And the vector can use a little more detail, it's a little plain.
Also, I think the monochrome version is better.

Haha, that's cool! Advertising for it (right?) by having the name in his eye. That's neat~ Very good vector, especially since you used such a small low-quality pic!! I'm not a fan of Sasuke or Naruto at all though lol. XD Still, nice job!

Yeap, eyes are really cool. I like the one with logo in it. I already put it on my desctop and I like the illusion of that he is going to jump out of the monitor.

The first thing that's striking about this paper is Sasuke's eyes, they look amazing, nicely done. Great job on the vector, I think the sharp outlines suits him and the overall Theme. That background style is fresh, urban and complimenting of the character. It's quite a relaxed paper considering that the protagonist is far from relaxed so for that you score major points. Nice work!

Great wall yet again. The vector is clean and I like the alterations made to Sasuke's eyes. I am really liking the dirty background wall you have going on. Very nice job. Nice back story for the wall as well. Keep up the great walling work, my friend. +^_^+

I remembered I was trying to vector this image from an episode in chasing-Sasuke-arc, and it's 100% failed! (I mean, my attempt to vector Sasuke). I like the idea of using two different sharingan at the same time, and the red splatter background gives it a real impact. Keep it up. :D

Not bad. Nice vectoring. But it feel like the background isn't having any impact on this wallpaper. I think background is flat and unnoticeable while the image is "in your face".

His Sharingan looks weird especially in his right eyes, you should make the tomoe's stand out more. And take the two 'streaks' of color off his face! I like the pose you used though.
