Hey everybody, you all having a good day?
This is me finally deciding to get... well i didn't get off my chair actually cause i sat down while doing this, I digress though. I finally decided to make a new wallpaper and yeah i've made a wallpaper using these scans before but i've been in a very Megaman-y mood lately which is helped along since Megaman Zero collection will be making it's way here fairly soon and i've just ordered Megaman X Command MIssion off Amazon hence the use of the Command Mission artwork.
When making this wallpaper i had to remember that i need to make it look as futuristic as possible yet at the same time not make it busy. The future will be minimalistic after all don't you know so some simple tech shapes and a glossy feel to the buildings to make them feel very stylised and reflective.
I have produced a similar version for those who prefer a lighter background:

very cool wall!!! I remember I did the same megaman for a notebook when I was in high school, that should be the standard colors for x's armor, going directly to my favorites

Really nice! The "Light" one looks as good as the dark one. Even tough I can see the details better in the light version. nonetheless, looks pretty good!

ah the dynamic duo of megaman x. really nice choice of background showing that this is their city and they will protect it from anything.
