I originally made this for the "Favorite Song" challenge on theOtaku, but I actually really liked how it turned out, so I decided to share it here, too. I used the song "Shuraba" by Tokyo Jihen. The words in the back are both the original Japanese lyrics and a very badly done translation. (laugh) I kept the badly done translation though, because I kind of liked how it made no sense. "Shuraba" to me is more of an interpretation of "Parasite" than "Rat's Nest" so I made that the title. (It matches the English translation better.) As someone has pointed out, the text was sloppily done. Although, I at the time it looked okay to me. If more people complain about it, I'll change it (since I still have the file).
[edit: 6/14/10] I fixed it, so it is not as sloppy. Hopefully, my efforts will give me first place in the challenge, eh?

I really like the coloring of this! Im not really sure about the placement of the text/lyrics though. Love all the textures and brushes though. Nicely done.

The chinese character in the background means 'hell of war or chaos'. Coloring the wallpaper is drawing mysterious atmosphere.

I redid the text. Since this is for a contest, I actually might keep revising it. Feel free to give more critique. (As long as it's not "you should vector it" because that's not happening. xD)
