The thumb looks really nice but when full viewed---- /(O_O)/ .

The scan that you used has low quality and the extraction isn't clean enough. Also, the patterns/textures on her dress makes it look like more of a large stain rather than a design on it. Typography's really nice but some parts are really jagged and some are blurred too. Vectoring would be most ideal.

Your scan is very low quality, also the shade of red your using vibrates a lot with the black background making it very hard to look at. Work on your masking and cutting out of your image, you have jagged edges all around Yui. This wall still has a long way to go.

As a side note, you need to work on placing your type better as well

Very @AssasinXXX-ish, but then quite worse. I completely agree with Horseradish; the scan is jaggy and blurry, which is unacceptable for this kind of concept. The typography is OK, though it doesn't really liven up the wall as much as it should. I don't want to be harsh, I know you did your very best and it's definitely a nice attempt, but you made some fundamental errors, which were also present in your first wall. I therefore really do recommend getting your next wall(s) through Session Zero first, so you get good constructive criticism.

Very vibrant wall, I like the way the colors stand out so much against the black background. However, your scan does need work. The lines lack a lot of precision, and since the character is the only focal point quality is everything. I do like the text, I think it adds a lot to it, and you did well with the coloring. Fix the lines and sharpness of the scan (vectoring would help) and it will be much better.

Well,as Horseradish&GoldenApe already said,this needs more work on the quality...overall,the concept is pretty nice,so you should totally work out the quality issue...

Oops! You can see some ugly edges on the hair .. xD and the hand not holding the guitar is also slightly deformed! clothing stains are not very well ... I think you should improve your quality n_nU hehe But the design is pretty good! when I saw the wall in a child I liked very much! the letters in the background and the colors look great! further improve the quality and extracted better scan .. I know that's the hardest xD ... but you very well!

it kinda needs more cleaning up still it looks good i was looking for a wallpaper for my ps3 and this is great since it has a dark background

I'm still trying to figure out what you've been doing to the vector that causes the massive drop in quality. Even if the edges of the original were a little bit blur, the original size of the vector is almost twice that of your wallpaper so the downsizing should have eliminated the problem. Maybe you could try walking us through your processes next time so we can tell you where you keep going wrong (as far as I can tell, you're facing the exact problem as your previous wallpaper).

Furthermore, the oddest thing about this wallpaper is that even your text doesn't have sharp edges (which can only mean that either you downloaded really lousy quality fonts or you rasterised your text). Typography walls are all about the sharpness so if you intend to make another one, you're gonna have to improve your wall quality.

Lastly, as @GoldenApe mentioned above, the typography style is a bit too similar to @AssasinXXX's. I mean, he's practically a resident typography veteran here on AP so if you copy his style, most of us are only going to compare your works to Assa's. It's a good start but over time you're going to have to evolve a style of your own.

End note, if next time you want to use a vector from the AP scans section, maybe you could try asking the original artists if they have other resources which you could better use (e.g. if you wanted to do all that colour swapping, you could have asked if there was an outline only version available. I'm assuming some of us would have these sort of things lying around after we finished our vectors)

While agreeing with everyone else about quality issues and Assa's evident influence, I'd also like to mention her hair - why is a portion of her hair missing? You can clearly see the hair outlines on the other side of her face where the hair should be...I don't know if this happened on purpose or by chance, but yeah....this wall would be very nice if the quality issues weren't so evident. .___.u

It's true, the quality is kinda bad but since it Yui <3 - my favourite character - I can bear it. Other than that I really like this typographical style and your choice of colors. Tough I don't really like the pink hair. The "rocking" and the pink guitar part are just too much pink for me all in all.

Well, in the end I still use it as my new desktop wallpaper just because it's one of the best Yui only papers out there.

Part of her hair in the background got blacked out with the background. Looks a little messy. It has some nice potential though

I love this wallpaper, the range of colors that you used to paint is very good and gives a great quality to it. A part of that is my favorite character from K-On.
