I just realized...it's been a while since I've made a wallpaper featuring a female as the main focus...so this is a bit weird to me. And by "a while" I mean a few years...so this is a bit like a new feeling for me. LOL.
Mm, I started this wallpaper without much in terms of ideas. However, I knew I wanted something kinda grungry and that was about it. As I extracted the image, a few ideas came to me. I wanted a gradiant background color of a lighter blue going darker as it went down. A fog/mist-like (or dust?) thing on the bottom, and the trademark checkerboard overlaying the background.
As the pieces slowly started coming together, I tried to avoid blue. I seem to have failed at that though... There was a lot of turquoise floating around on it for a long time. In the end, it just didn't look nice as a combination with the darker, bolder and more solid blues...so those were changed to a lighter blue.
There's a lot of color modification layers going on, all of which revolve around blue and blue-green. And although it looks like there's a lot of textures on it, there's technically only two being used (one was duplicated over several layers and grouped into areas though).
The title might not match. I was running out of ideas, so I just used a phrase from one of my favorite songs... Ignition by TobyMac . Hope you guys like it.

Well,even bishie-walling girls sometimes male a female wall,ne?xD I'm glad there's someone like me walling usually guys though...I'm not alone anymore *hugs ya tight* Anyways,I do love BRS,she's the only female I don't find annoying atm xD Good work on the background and textures,looks like the usual wall that's always behind her in any scan lol xD Love the blue theme< 333 + fave

In truth I've never heard of this series, but no lie this has to be the most amazing wall I've seen in the last month. I really love how you have the background colors dark blue which keeps the main character and his apparent mecha being dark and shadow like. Really amazing work 10/10

the overall tone and colours may be dark but somehow it's still quite alright. love the contrasts of the gun visors
