Hello people, this is the first wallpaper i've ever made and it features Komuro Takashi from the manga/anime Highschool of the dead.
This is how i made it: I created the background with help of a paper texture and some brushes. After that i just placed the vector of Takashi at a good spot and changed it's saturation after that i made the text with a cool font i got from Dafont.com
So check it out and tell me what you think of it.

I think it would have looked better if you'd like put him on the paper, and not have a paper bg and then takashi. Its like real and not real?

I like the background paper, but I feel as if the picture of Takashi has been squished or something. Comparing the wallpaper with the picture at your signature seems show that. Nothing too big of a deal but just seems unnatural as I scroll down and see your avatar and sig.

Judging from your signature the Takashi in the wallpaper is a bit skinny / squished. Not to mention I feel that the handprint could look a little more blended into the paper, even if you don't want it to, it just sticks out way to much for me. I also think Takashi is a little to desaturated, compared to the splatter marks, text, and the paper background. I sort of need more info to judge this better, your brainspill is just telling us just to give our thoughts on a visual image rather than reading what you did to achieve this.

I like the background design of the wall, but the picture of Takashi has .......I think it has been squished or something. Maybe you need to work harder to next wallpaper. PS: (And maybe the signature is too low at the bottom, try to make it higher.)

Not bad for your first wallpaper. I still can't make anything like this.

Nice picture of Takashi. I like the paper background, but the outline just makes him seem too small.

It's pretty cool, but the foreground and the background don't really blend well together

I like it.
It has lots of free space for my many icons so it's practical and the handprint really captures the whole "zombie" theme.
The background took a little getting used too but I find the soft gray colour very appropiate.

Woah its Takashi the badass of the HOTD series..... there aren't many wallpapers on this guy (maybe because of all the women in the series that distract EVERYONE from him <_<) still though in aspect of Takashi's awesomeness i gotta say this wallpaper really brings it out. U shld do another wallpaper on Hirano with like guns in the background or something. Nice Pic KEEP IT UP!

I like this but... the image and the paper seem sort of awkward together. But other than that its pretty good!(:

Although it's simple, it works really well. If I had to give some constructive criticism, I would say that the main character (sorry I'm terrible with names) is a bit too crisp and clear in comparison.
All in all, very nicely done.

nice paper thanks a lot

A brickwall would fit there better as the current paper something, cause is way too simple for the art of HOTD.

That's a really great design! Lots of practical space for icons and I love the bloody handprint. It really captures the feel of the anime.
Nice colours and plenty of detail.
