The lighting here is just gorgeous and creates such a serene and wonderful atmosphere. I also think Ed looks a bit too clean for the rest of the wall but that's just a minor detail. Love the way you blended two scans together. :)

The background looks amazing. The textured painted style looks great. Kinda wish you did the same with Ed though because he kinda does'nt go well with the textured background as you painted him in a really smooth way. Would've been better if he was textured a bit to fit the whole wallpaper style. Still a beautiful wallpaper nonetheless. :D

I'm not really comfortable with the painted bg and having Ed vectored. Especially around the hair, the vectored line art doesn't really blend well with the fine detailed brush work on the curtains and books.

Otherwise, I'm loving the wall. FMA Brotherhood had hooked like crazy, and it's great to have a new FMA wall :) Great work.

When I first saw this on ap clash homepage I though, omg, this is absolutly great. I couldn't see it in a bigger size, just after you uploaded it. Maybe you don't like the outlines so much, but I still like the whole wallpaper. Nice job! :)

I don't want you take this the wrong way, but when I first saw this wallpaper I thought to myself "Finally, I get to see what storm-and-fire is really capable of". While I won't deny that the quality of your work is absolutely outstanding, this is the first piece I've truly seen from you that really stands out and shows just exactly how much talent you have and it showcases it in full effort here.

While I know a lot of people are against mixing a vector with a painted background and I can completely see why, I honestly think you combined the two rather seamlessly. Considering how many different moments in FMA you could of chosen of Ed as a perfect example of the human condition, you did a hell of a good job by choosing something music related. What better way to express pure, raw emotion than through music. It served as outlet for me for numerous years when I use to play drums and still continues to this day, which is why your choice of scan speaks so deeply to me. Plus, open shirt Ed = win for all the ladies. Ok, maybe a win for me too.

Now the background, this is why I stated what I did in my first paragraph. I remember how hypnotized I was when I first saw painted background emerging in the anime wallpaper scene. You did a fantastic job incorporating two separate scans together and flawlessly fitting them as if they had always been one room. From the lighting onto the piano, curtains and bookshelves to the carefully crafted detail on every single object in this room, it's hard for me to even find any flaw within such perfection. I was stress that I don't like using that word often, but I really cannot think of any other way to describe such a background. Or perhaps it's because I feel no other word should be used.

While you have shown time and time again that you are not only incredibly talented and inventive, I personally feel that this wallpaper speaks far deeper than any of your previous entries and to me that is what I absolutely love about it.

The shirt is the only real place the vector lines bother me. You hardly notice them elsewhere, I think it's just because the shirt is so fluid that the clean lines of the vectors on your folds stick out. Otherwise, you have the rest of my comment. 8D Good round!

waaa, this looks amazing. But the BG quality doesnt matter your beatiful painting skills. and the pillar looks very awkward because its longer than the bookshelves.

I like how you extended it on left, that chosen scan fits well I think :3 I don't really think the fact that Ed is vectored bothers me, maybe because it kinda look similiar to anime in which bg are painted nicely like that too.

What a beautiful scene! The painting of the background is excellent and I love the atmosphere. But I'm distracted by the different style of the background and am caught wondering why it's like that, so I'm not enjoying the scene as much. Nonetheless, fav!

The texture-y painting is rather different from your usual style, reminiscent of the Old Masters :D and the perspective is spot on. Great job with the dreamy lighting, too! My only gripe is the linework on Ed's shirt, no biggie.

This wall is going on my computer immediately! The background is beautifully painted and the shadowing on Edward is smooth and subtle. I love the addition of the bookcase. You did a fantastic job seamlessly integrating it (as well as other little additions). I'm always excited to find lovely wallpapers, but when I find one for a favorite anime of mine, I can't contain my excitement! Thank you for making this wall!
