Love the details in her hair and clothes. The BG is a bit jumbled and it took me a while to piece everything together but once I did, I realized the awesomeness behind it all. Really nice details and idea. :D

Beautiful vector indeed! Nice work on the background too. But there's something about those petals that does'nt look quite right. It kinda looks like it's just hovering there rather than floating on water. I think maybe a few ripples around the petals would make it look more like it's floating on the water. Something like what Nysha did in this wallpaper. Everything else looks amazing though. 8D

Wow, all the work done here really pays off. The overall abstractness is somehow preventing me from seeing your interpretation of the theme but that's probably due to my lack of imagination. Great job anyway.

Super beautiful, I loved the scan when I saw it and I love it even more with the way you've re-made it. I like your style of shading over the cel-shading style that's in the scan, especially in her face and hair as it makes the fact she's in the water show up way better than it did in the original.

This is just creepy - in a very good way! The mood is just stunning, just like the skill you put into this. Her face and especially the hair look amazing, and the water effect is just..<3. And the reflection of the mouse in her eyes! Although i have to be an ar*e and mention that the reflection of the mouse is a bit off. I can't believe the beauty of this wallpaper. When I full viewed it my eyes literally popped and my heart missed a beat...there are now words to describe the power of this wallpaper.

Just taking in the face did that to me, after I saw the rest of the body and the background I completely fell in love with it. The painting is exquisite and the manipulation of stock and photographs are stunning! Incredible work Julie, you have certainly become my favorite waller on this site.

Very nice vectoring and coloring! I'm amazed that you can do something like this so fast! The legs seem really undefined compared to her head, but I guess that could be a part of the concept too, hehe. Good luck in the next round!

oh myyy.. i love her face... the character looks so beautiful.. her hair.. the details.. you did an awesome job on it.. i dont like much the background, its a pity you didnt change it and try something different cause the character is so pretty and background kinda ruins it... The right side border looks too 3d and the buildings seam like brushes or stock not matching the scene... Anyways i'm in love with what you did with the character.. congrats for that great work!
