I think you managed to convey all those emotions pretty well in this wall though I'd add more reds to accentuate the anger in his expression, too. Just my opinion, lol. Great job and congrats on the win! :D

Even if the wallpaper is some kind of simple, but I really love love love it, this is so far my best choice from all the first round wallpapers, Yina, you just proved that a very nice wallpaper doesn't have to be overcrowded, also it's an original arts of you !!! What got me interested in it were the colours. They make this wallpaper very outstanding, even though it does not have a proper background (this can be positive as well; some walls look better without a detailed background, that's just how it is, right?). I love this wall so much. I think, rather than feeling anger from this wallpaper, it shows more frustration and sadness. I quite like it, as that's a rather hard emotion to display in image form. I love the colors on it and I think it's simply beautiful. Awesome wall, awesome job and congrats!

I took one look at this wall, and for some reason I started thinking about a J-drama that I watched. Dunno what that means lol.

The 愛 tatoo is a nice touch, but I think it's a tad too sketchy to look like a normal tattoo. But otherwise, brilliant original work as always. Your facial expressions and composition has grown leaps and bounds since you started doing original works, and it's so easy to feel the emotions coursing through this wall. It's nice to come back and see new walls from ya :) +fav

bwahaha yours was the first on my assignment list and hence the first one i looked at. opened the file and was like YINAAAA 8D a good number of walls' styles were quite recognizably their respective wallers'. anyway, i'm here to re-declare how much i love your OAA and lovelovelove your painting. < 3

First off, I'm so glad to hear that you had such great friends help you get through that personal stuff. I can only hope things are infinitely better at the moment and will continue be. With that in mind, what a great way to draw from a current state-of-mind to put into a canvas. Also, it's incredibly sweet you offer thanks to your grandfather.

With that said, I have to side track a bit here. I remember back when I first started seeing you submit walls under the name of Yuuna-chan. Years later, I can't say I'm shocked at all to see how talented you've become. You've always shown great artistic ability and it's always reflected so wonderfully in your drawings. By taking the human condition to a more simple, common form, it allows you to focus more greatly on something that each and every one of can relate to. That alone was an incredibly smart decision. The inclusion of tears, snot and him screaming (which I'd imagine he would be at the top of his lungs) just add that much more to it, along with his body language. You could of just drawn this picture without incorporating anything else and it would of perfectly captured the theme in so many incredible ways.

This is something else I'm really thrilled about, and that is that you stuck to a simple background. Sticking to a simple blue coloring around him and creating, to my eyes, the effect of the heavens themselves shedding tears over this gentleman's pain is more than enough. It's just as brilliant as it is beautiful and continues the emotional turmoil of the character, which is really what causes this wallpaper to just take the ball and not look back.

You've certainly grown immensely as an artist, not only through drawing but also walling. While I personally figured that going towards such a basic version of the human condition wouldn't turn out nearly as well, you more than took on the challenge and completely overcame it. I can't began to express how many emotions of the past this stirs up just simply staring at this wallpaper and that alone speaks far greater than anything else I've said.

Oh, finally some time to comment , I love the way you paint, so soft and looks like a pro's work. This wall is something else, not only it has beautiful color, nice painting, but also, is very expressive. I almost can feel her pain. Now that I look closely I think is a he xDD lol confused.
