I told you already how much I like this wallpaper. Very nice job. And it is a great think, that you started to upload your work(s) again. I missed you! :)

I don't know what I'm more shocked about. That you've returned to AP or the fact that you started walling again. When I talked to you back in 2007, I feared that you were done with the walling scene and you wouldn't be returning. It broke my heart to see such a talented artist leaving the community, when so many others were already leaving as well. Yet, here I find that not only you were the Wildcard waller, but you've also returned!

I think what shocked me the most is that you used Metropolis, which in itself is a perfect example of a type of human condition that no one else touched upon. It's really hard to write exactly about what you did with the original image, because you reworked it so much and made so many great modifications to it. From modifying her face to show she's obviously not human at all, to redrawing the arm itself to that absurdly sexy dove you drew. I really can't began to get into just exactly how much I love what you've chosen and how completely unique and different it is.

If you told me that you made the background from scratch in three days, I'd laugh at you. I'd laugh because I wouldn't think it was possible. Hell, I wouldn't think achieving an extremely detailed and high quality wallpaper would be possible in anything short of close to two weeks. I especially love the sickened clouds in the background as well as the desolate city landscape as well. Combined with the emotional impact of the character as well as the dove, it really sets it over the top in terms of atmosphere. I don't think I've been this absorbed by a wallpaper for quite some time.

While I really enjoyed all of the entries for AP Clash, this is the one that truly spoke to me the most. It communicated so much by simply visuals alone and spoke on such a greater level than raw human emotion, and to me that is why this wallpaper is nothing short of brilliant.

I love the elements here. The way you combined the tranquil FG to the chaotic BG. Concept and composition is really great. <3

Beautiful piece. I think the graphic nature of it just makes it that much more impacting and creative. I really enjoy the progress that was made from the original piece to the newer polished one. You've done a great job with this wall~

The detail on the bird is amazing... I like your painting style, but I think you'll still need a lot more practice before you get the hang of it :P No worries though! You're really good and I'm sure you can pull it off.

Your background is amazing, but I'm confused as to why your foreground and background have the same degree of clarity. I think you should've kept the fire in your WIP to help the transition from background to foreground.. Anyway, AWESOME WALL.

I love the detail on the mechanical arm thingy. Kinda wished that the buildings were more detailed with more depth to it. But overall it's an amazing wallpaper especially considering how you made it in a mere 3 days. :O

wow now i see all those wonderful details, especially on his/her face (yeah its true i have no idea which gender it is and im lazy to read description) overall it really has some interesting feel to it, its great :3+

This is evidently hard work with a lot of meaning! Excellent job! It really takes a lot of skill to get all this done in 3 days. I'm so impressed! I love the foreground and the background being in the light! The only thing that sort of bothers me is that the buildings look melted together (because the sky and building are so distinctly separate while the buildings are blended together).

I hope you've nursed your body back to health after just eating popcorn (!!) for 3 days.

Metropolis is such an underappreciated movie, i'm delighted to see someone make an epic wall from it. Great work.

I've had this movie since... well, I don't know since when! I really like Metropolis. The character looks a little off though. "He" doesn't go with the story line at all in my opinion. Well, with the skin off of him and then holding a bird at that. Anyway, you did a good job. Better than I could have done with my skills.
