That was amazingly catchy the moment I saw it. Not only the thumb but the full screen too! :D Love the simplicity, but I think the leg area needs a work on...hmmm...misses a few "precise" details or at least needs to have a lesser glow, I cant seem to see the foot properly.

It could be real easy to dismiss this wallpaper as just a great looking scan plastered onto an existing background. However, such a claim would be a complete injustice to the hard work you put into this wallpaper. Had I known your tablet broke, I would of sent you mine as a temporary replacement! No one should have to paint something like that by hand. No one.

I can see the perception of the girl looking like she's walking on water, based upon the ripple effect and the way the landscape looks, but by doing what you did you really created a perfect dream-like state. Whlie I get the idea of walking on air, maybe it's just me being morbid but I see it as her bidding a farewell to the world in a similar fashion that the lyrics of Thrice's "See You in The Shallows" are modeled. That in itself creates a dramatic emotional effect to me, even if it's completely opposite of what you were aiming for. Still, I absolutely love the choice of scan you went with.

What a perfect background to model after. Never have I seen such a more beautifully drawn sky. I am also extremely pleased that you took great liberties to make the background similar by design, yet completely different in nature. I can only imagine what a chore this must of been to paint by hand. From the harmonious blue sky, to the lushness of the clouds all the way to the appearance of a sea space in the lower region of the background. This wallpaper seeps a majestic atmosphere. I'm also glad that you decided to keep the greenery around her as well as the addition of the sparkles add to the previously mentioned dream state.

It's not only fantastic seeing you back in action, but back in action with such a wonderful wallpaper. I'm glad to hear that you took plenty of cookies breaks as well. A cookie a day keeps the madness away.

It's so magical! I absolutely love it ♥ . I like how she looks like she's taking a step to the unknown. Your effort did some really good results because that background is absolutely magnificent. And the scan from which you took the character is very well blended in. I'm a great fan of Houden Eizo ^^ . Those little shiny dots are cute and for me it feels like they'd be from some kind of spell. And the colour theme is nice and dreamy too. I think that this is a successfully done wallpaper that deserves a +fav . Thank you for sharing this and have a good day!

I must admit I really like the way the female character is about to get her feet into the water. It reminds me that I want to got to the sea (it's so hot in Greece this season) and play with water like a child - back to the wallpaper now - I would like to say that I am fond of the colors, the painting, the lights, they are all in harmony, but one thing I would suggest (though it's my personal opinion only and surely I have no right to interfere in your vision) is that on the left side of the wallpaper I would like to see "something"...don't know what I would like to see, it feels like something will appear there XD. Regardless of my opinion on this, I truly believe this wallpaper is my favorite of the week, so relaxing and fun to look at.

this was on my desktop for months. so i feel like it's really close and special to me. i also have a really tigh connection to dreams. i am a video artist and i almost always try to recreate my dreams in my movies or in photographs. this have a very nice air..i just love it.

I really love this idea and picture! The scenery just fits the word "dream" perfectly well. Im not sure, but it seems that you lowered the amount of details of the background compared to the base image. If you, it was a good choice, because it only descripes t he mention of a dream better. Also, the character-image is also well-choiced. It literary shows to step into a dream. The small on the right side with its edge stands for the edge of reality while the endless wide-opened area stands for the infinity of the dreams.

In other words: everything is perfectly well done and descripes your idea of this wallpaper really fine. Its somehow simple and detailed at the same time.
