CRIME and PUNISHMENT

I read today on the way home "free or*asm donors" instead of organ donors. This wallpaper actually is an or*asm donor. Weird comment? Yes.

My only concern would be that Roy's head is a bit jaggy which is probably because of the fire effect's blending mode. However, the smoke effects and the fire sparkles are seriously awesome. Great job combining the screenshots and it really brings out the theme.

3 hurray for wallpapers created from screenshots, and especially for such high quality ones as this. Not a big fan of FMA, or better said I didnt liked it a single bit, but it nothing changes about this skillfully made wallie. I have read a russian book by this title long time ago ;3 +Fav

This is a product of both skill and patience.

I've my own interpretation of this actual moment, which you've dramatically projected on a wallpaper. I haven't watched FMA, let alone know its characters. But, the momentary drama portrayed here is truly remarkable. To me, it appears the guy at the background is fending off some enemies while the one in the foreground is only given a brief respite to pay respects to a fallen comrade. The fog appears more like a blast from the fireball at the background, telling the guy in front that it's time.

This is a brilliantly conceptualized wall, which was made all the more dramatic with the skills of the artist.

I am not sure that I am viewing this wall as a representation of the human condition, in the same way that you are presenting it to me, in the written description, but I definitely see the human condition represented here. Please allow me to award you the laurel of an artist. You have made me think about something I cannot fully grasp in a single viewing.

You have made some real good work on this one considering what you started with and what you made it turn into. however, I would have used a texture background for the clouds to add more to it's depth and dramatic feel. But I know it's your first time trying to paint a cloud.

Beautiful work on your vector as usual. < 3 I really liked how you created such a deep wallpaper in terms of emotions. You can really feel the sense of grief here. I think the lighting really helped in creating that kinda atmosphere. So great work on that. ;)

I've been a fan of your work ever since your "End of Heartache" wallpaper you submitted way back and it's been a pleasure to watch the variety of different styles you've done over the years. It was an even bigger surprise when you messaged me and asked for assistance for this contest. Finally, I got to see one of my favorite wallers work through a wall.

While there are certainly a great deal of emotions wallpapers that both physically and mentally convey pure, raw human emotion, I found this one to be a bit different. This wallpaper doesn't just depict this raw emotion, it offers a landscape to further impact it. You could of simply just stuck with using either of the characters by themselves and that alone would of created a great deal of emotional impact, but by using the two you created something in and of itself. What made this an even bigger treat was that we observe their emotions not through facial expression, but by body language alone.

At times like this, playing it safe and taking a big step are what truly separate individuals from each other. By working with something that was somewhat outside of your comfort zone, you did it absolutely flawlessly. This background is pure love. From the explosion, to the clouds being blown back from said explosion, to the desolate landscape and especially from the grave. This wallpaper has a background that is so emotionally driven that I honestly wouldn't mind seeing an alternate version without the characters. By far one of my favorite scenic backgrounds.

There is so much emotion, and so much atmosphere in here. I have to confess as well that while I like the original text, I'm so glad you removed it. It would of completely destroyed the atmosphere. The brail was brilliant btw.

It's the first time that, I feel the author's description is more attractive than his wall, although it's really a good wall. The theme of this wallpaper is crime and punishment, it reveals these well, not only Roy who faces his fire, but also Riza gets down on her knees, all of these show their regret. Fortunately, they get a chance to make up for their mistakes and they finish it. The work is fine, the cloud、fire in background, the wall、sand which was blew by wind, the dealing with these is natural and lifelike. Of course, the progress pic really attract me, it's interesting and easy to understand. I can see the difficulty remaking such wall to a good wallie. Thanks for your sharing. +fav~

and it reminded me of this wallpaper that i whenever u first put it up.

mainly im a hugee FMA fan so thats y it caught my attention. and the lighting made it even more dramatic.

those clouds are done pretty well also; catches the viewers attention that form from the explosion and give depth to the wallpaper...
