Hello, I had some free time so I decided to realize my old wish - make an Okami wall. The original scan is here.
(I don't know how but the graphic card turned up to be better than I thought:))
Except for some minor parts that are vectored, all the wall is painted. And I truly enjoyed it, especially the cliff with the pine-tree. I also had to cut the left wolf and shift it forward since the head was just too small for the purpose.
Nothing more to say I guess...
Anyways, hope you like it and thanks,
S.

Thanks for the title Selennna. It helps with the understanding of this wall. I think that I lack the necessary knowledge of eastern art styles to fully appreciate this wall, but the painting catches my attention and draws me into the scene. I'll try to educate myself for the sake of being better prepared in the future.

W00t, you're back again!
I like the swirly and slightly geometrical clouds, colors and the old, Japanese scroll-like style you used. Those Japanese symbols are also a nice touch. Nice job! :D

For me best Okami wall so far, though to be honest, it's mostly thanks to the scan you used - the scene itself is very touching and that's what this wall is all about. But anyway, you did great work on the scan, so it just has to be a fave. .(n_n).

This is a really nice scan. The style is very similar to the storyboards that appear after events in the game. This particular moment in the game is one of my favorites with the possible exception of the last battle. The only thing that I see that's sort of different is that I think one of the Shiranui's is bathed in a bright light. I'm not going to spoil anything for anyone that still hasn't played this excellent game though. Anyway, great job. Definitely one of my favorites.

Beautiful and sad, Okami is my favourite game. This part of the game was really heart-touching. There isn't quite enough space for negative criticism, everything looks in balance and harmony. You took the best out of the scan and made it even better. I really like the strong, compared to the scan, colours. Especially the red of the blood, it looks very violent and awfully hurting. The tree looks also nice, quite a befitting dying place, spending a bit of consolation.to the broken deity. The illumination of the whole picture suggests a silent and grieved atmosphere. Thanks for the great Okami wallpaper. sniff
