Hi dearest AP members.
I think Saikano was the very first anime I managed to watch to the last episode, and read the manga afterwards, and even did I managed to cry during both endings. (I guess I was young and unexperienced and sentimental) Anyway. Using my beloved Chise for experimental purposes when I finally decide to LEARN THE DAMN PAINTING STYLE practice my painting technique once and for all. For now I'm kind of blind for mistakes and such but however, I'll learn someday.

I tried to vector it but the fine raspy pencil-lines that I love didn't come out nicely with vector, so I had no other choice than to finally start with this painting-stuff. And it's fun <3
Alot of adjustments later I used those scans as help for the background.

*GASP* it's rare to see 4:3 walls anymore haha
It's definitely interesting, the layout and all, a nice grungy feel. Plus the lettering at the bottom left corner of the wall is a nice touch.

Beautiful!
I really enjoy textures, and yours are amazing. Vectors are cold, flat and lifeless, and this really cool drawing style demonstrates that vectors are overvalued on this site.
Background is very original, playing with colors and perspectives. Composition, including signature, is unique, making of this paper a very lovely one.

It's really good looking, it really pleases my eyes. Especially due to the contrast of the white cloud-things and the red aura. The only thing that ruined it was the yellow-ish thing on the girl's back... Unless it was supposed to be there.

I do love the textures that you used and the way you painted her but the BG is kinda lacking. It doesn't seem to fit for me.

i think the concept is good but you used too much textures, they make the wall look with less quiality also the face is blue... XD well anyway is just my opinion dont mind me U.U good work

The concept you used to make it worked out well. It has a real painting feel to it and the colors compliment eachother nicely. It also looks like it took quite sometime to do, but in my opinion however long it took was worth it.
On another small side note, I feel oddly serene when I see this paper, so I guess that would be a plus on the effect side since it's inducing effects to the human psyche. xD In all serousness, awesome job though.
