I had to resubmit this because my internetz went boom so I hope the first submission got deleted correctly..
Anyways.. I've been working on this for about three or four days in between work. I made the grass, mountains, and pebbles on my tablet by hand. The little bitty trees and cracks in the path way were brushes from deviant art. The sky part was an old stock photo I took of the sunset. I really enjoy creating scenic walls, so I hope you guys like it. The title is a song by The GazettE because they are amazing.
I saw this scan and fell in love with Mao's hat ;D so I just had to do something with it. DTB is a great anime and Hei is < 3.

i just love it ♥♥♥ though i think the grass is more green than it should be, it should have pull on the orange like color, but i love it XD+

I agree with Yuukine on the grass, definitely greener than it should be for that time of day. There would be more blues/purples in the grass, with some redder highlights. Also, Mao and Yin look like they're floating a bit, so perhaps work on their shadows a bit. Hope that helps, it's a good start. (:

I don't really like the colours and the background is a little to soft for the characters, but it's well-done nonetheless.

Textures are great. Also the colors. As for the lighting, you should put some shades of reds and oranges on the grass and on the characters too as @yuukine ad @Gideon have said.

This is such a great wallpaper. I like the pictures of Hei, Mao and Yin, nice choise :) But the background is just amazing and knowing, that you did it all by hand makes it even more amazing. I absolutely love it ^^ Darker Than Black is a great anime. The story is interesting and there are so many great characters in this series. Thanks a lot for sharing this awesome wallpaper. ^^
