Shining In The Light Of The Moon

I've commented on a lot of walls today Major, and I've been very complementary. It is not that I am trying to be a suck-up or nice to all of the wallers; its just that the competitions is bring out a lot of AP's talent, and I am starting to sound like a cliché every time I say wow. So, I am going to try not to gush, or sound too over-the-top. Major, simply stated this is a really nice wall. I really appreciate you sharing it. Thanks for sharing it with us.

It's certainly eye catching. You obviously put a lot of work into transforming the bulk of the scan into that wall. However, for being a bajillion layers as you said, the background isn't very interesting. The plain red isn't doing it for me. Other than that, it looks great.

Nicely done. Very crisp and clean. Somehow, this wall gives me the creeps, IDK why. LOL. (XD) As for the colors, I wish you'd stick to the original one----or you could add some textures and make it look like an old one. ^^v

Wow. You did a great job on vectoring the scan. But that's one scary ass Wall. /(O_O)/ Wickedly scary. #(u_u)# I love it! |(VcV)| I have to agree that the background is a little plain. I can understand you not wanting to do much with it, as there's so much going on with the main focus of the wall, but maybe even a gradient or a texture would have livened the background up a little. Hence it would have enhanced the wall instead of detracting from it.

I just noticed Horseradish's comment re; texture - yeah, making it looked aged would be a great idea!

I'm also not sure about the concept of 'old school' here but other than that, I like the simple colors and the overall, dark and creepy mood of the wall. Nice job on the vector, too!

The scenery and weirdness of the characters is so attractive. I admire how creative you are with the image, sure the original scan has it's own appeal but your mark is no less enchanting. Outstanding vector, but my favorite aspect is the colors. I like how the dark gray dragon makes the scene so much more dramatic. The character's are so well defined that there really was no need to elaborate on the background. It's a wallpaper that leaves you with quite a lot to think about!

Wow. You did a very nice job vectoring the original scan. It looks so awesome! 8)E I liked of the colors that you used, put the dragon is very different, but I like of it. Really well done, I only think that the font that you used on the signature is a little bit hard to understand, try to use other fonts, ok? But, it's just a little detail. ^^

An interesting wall, I like the dark atmosphere. but I agree that there's something about the background that doesn't quite fit with me. I would've loved to see how it would've turned out with the original sepia colors, complemented with re-texturing.

Looks great, and I have to admit that it's an unusual choice of image (in a good way) considering the dragon is weird-looking haha. The vector is perfect, and it seems like your hard work has paid off! =)

A work which is different from other former works of author. The dealing with this scan is good, the makeup of the left of wall is natural. Reusing new color makes this wallie more fantastic, and also reveals the unusual composition of it. To other normal wallpaper, it's hard to remake a scan to a new wallie. I can see the author's effort and staidness, I admire these. A great wallpaper,thanks for your sharing. It's sorry that I can't add it as a favorite because I don't like Aya Kato artwork. I hope your next work~

[wow it's been already 6 days^^] i think it was already been stated in previous comment bout the bg that's too plain, i think the bg can be added with some cloning from black color vector things you already did, or do as someone said bout the texture, or simply make it as black bg, cause black can match with any color. Other than that, bout the main vector i think it's great especially the gradient and the outline. Although something still missing for me,maybe because there is no bright color in this wall so it look so crowded yet so empty in color...

Beautifully reworked from the originl scan. Vectoring is great and the wallpaper definitely has a crisp-like quality to it. But a bit too weird for my taste :P

I really need to say this wallpaper ought to receive a higher ranking. The vector is crystal clear, the color theme very right chosen and your effort is visible. I have it as a desktop wall a couple of days now and I am enjoying it.

I really love this. The colors you went with are muted, but they're by far not boring. Aya Kato's art is very beautiful, but also very ugly at the same time. I like that you put in a simple background to counter the details of the original piece. The colors you chose to use remind me of Japanese-style tattoos, because you've mixed muted reds and yellows with black and grey. Your vector is very clean, and the shading is very well done.

Ooh you're definitely improving. I like the smooth clean vector here. Kinda wished the dragon was a golden color like in the scan because it gives off a more ancient royalty kinda feel. I also think it would be interesting if you have used some patterns in the background instead of using one color to fill it in. Still a good wallpaper, so keep up the great work. ;)

Wow very beautiful and sooo many layers ahahah good job. I really like how you did the blood splatter it looks very unique nice job. That demon looking thing must of been a pain to do so many little layers but all done so nicely.
