When I browsed through my Gallery I noticed how much my works changed in the last 3 years. It was so much fun vectoring scan like this or that. It was just vectoring. No painting and no vexelling. So I decided to do a wallpaper like that again! And I choosed a xxxholic scan because, well, why not? I actually intended to do a Yuuko or Himawari scan but I ended up choosing Watanuki, and just Watanuki. And hey, let's celebrate. This is my second just male wallpaper. I should wall more males XD
What can I say about the wallpaper? Well, I vectores the outlines very unsteady. They are thick and thin. I prefer them this way. And that was the original style of the scan. I had to reconstruct some parts - the umbrella. I still don't like the outcome but I am bad at reconstructing^^; The umbrella was the most hated part in this wallpaper at all. All the lines %D I'm too lazy for this kind of stuff XD When I started to color the wallpaper I almost painted some parts but deleted them as soon as I noticed them.. However, I used some gardients here and there. The background is empty, I know. i did it on purpose. You always need some space to put the icons, right? Oh on the background I also used a texture from DA!.

great job on the vectors. but I don't quite like that the wall is a bit too simple. wish you put more on the background and maybe come up with a concept or something.

This wallpaper is really beautiful. I love the fact that it is so simple. It really looks like a xxxHOLiC wallpaper.
The Watanuki vector is flawless. I love Watanuki, my favourite character of all time! You did a good job! +Fav

My only complaint is on the bells, the lines look too thin making them look jagged a bit. Other than that I think you really improved on your lines, it's very smooth. The background being simple really does make you pay more attention to Watanuki, I'm just thinking maybe the trees are unbalancing it...giving the impression that it's not finished yet.

I really like this image if watanuki. I like the use of colors and I do like that you left the background empty then the focus is more on his and not what is around him. Love the wall and great job!
