Divergence Eve Summer is about Melons

Divergence Eve is such a raunchy anime. XD Cant take my eyes away from the screen! O___O

The striped sling bikini and tail doesn't look very good on Suzanna, but the melons and Misaki's rear renders that concern meaningless in a few seconds. The background though seems a bit too simple. It lacks the usual colorfulness your other pictures have, and being a 2003 anime doesn't explain that, as Shingetsutan Tsukihime is also a 2003 anime, yet it has a beautifully made animation picture-wise. So yes, the vector looks very good, but what you gain on them goes away on the background. Nice wallpaper though.

Great work on your vector, the characters are obviously flawless. I'm missing a a bit more detail when it comes to the background, for instance the clouds could use some more shading to add some depth to them.

But a very good wall nonetheless and extra points for being the first to do a DE wall

Beautiful wallpaper aki! As always excellent vectors and colors (Over 2000 shapes O.O). Lol, character introduction ftw, those sizes... Great job creating the BG from nothing. I can only find one thing out of place and that is the clouds, compared to the water and sand they seem to lack detail.

Who no way this is the first wall for Divergence Eve that's a shocker. that anime was on the boarder of being Hentai most of the time and there are no walls. Well I'm glad you were the one to put up the first one. I guess I'm going to have to follow suit. I loved that show, though admittedly I never go to watch it much. it still hold a special place in my heart, which you have just now widened. +Fav

well, hate to say it, but to me, this is one of the least inspired walls you've done. it's also only mediocre in quality.

your vectors, albeit clean, lack depth and artistic flare. i fear you may get stuck in the same type of vectoring for all your art at this rate. time to start mixing it up more aki. next wall i want to see vectoring more like the kind Tens used in sunset mantle. notice how the shadows are gradated, but not with gradients. with layers of lines. notice how the lines are not all uniform in said gradation. look at the detail in the hair. i want to start seeing things like this from you.

that aside, there are issues with this wall that i think should be addressed. mentioned already, and i agree with, are the fact that the striped tail and bikini are roughly done. this wouldn't be a problem if all the vectoring were done that way, in fact it'd increase the originality and artistic qualities of it. but since the rest is clean, this stands out, and appears to be rushed.

your line weight is a little too uniform. stop being so careful about making it perfect, but don't be careless either.

biggest issue this wall has, however, is the bg blending with the fg. first, it's obvious that it's a filter made bg, that's tacky for someone who's been walling for a while. second, it doesn't match the style of the fg. it should be vectored, not rushed filter made stuff. third, the clouds don't fit the rest of the bg, already mentioned. fourth the horizon line is too sharp a contrast between the clouds and see.

final thoughts, as i said, this wall seems to be one of the least inspired walls. you wanted to wall a non-walled series, great. you wanted to wall ecchi, fine. problem is, you can't just take three images, put them in a wall, and slap on a simple bg. it's composition is weak. there is no framing to speak of, and no reason, aside from perversion to examine the wall, i.e. nothing to lead the eye through.

you could have tilted the entire wall. leaned the characters in opposing directions to create tension. you could've added a tree or something to frame it, dark clouds, sun, whatever.

aside from ability to vector, this wall could have been made by a noob. i expect to see better from an experienced waller, and know i will from now on.
