Love the idea and everyone's expression really helps to finish the scene for this wallpaper. Those must have been very carefully chosen :D The only little thing I'm not a fan of is the way the grass brush is used, but it's so creative in every other way and thoughtful (even down to keeping everyone's outlines in the same style, despite their original look) it's not even a big deal ^^

Hahaha this is creative as hell, the way you arrange everything is priceless. My only complaint is the grass, it really throws off the overall quality of the wallpaper, same as the mountains in the back, they look a little stiff and way too neat to be in the background. On the other hand, the clouds turned out pretty cool <3 Keep it up!

That is a really creative piece of work. Great job putting together this wallpaper from so many different scans into one complete image. There are some little things that bother me, but most of them have been pointed out by others. The only other one I see that hasn't been pointed out is a color leak on Itsuki's left shoulder. Other than that you did a great job.

very creative indeed pretty amazed that u did this with a touchpad like others have mentioned i think the grass are to messy and it's obvious at first glance that they're photoshop default brushes. blurring and layering them would probably help a little i'm also not very fond of the mountains in the back. the clouds are pretty nciely done though

Very creative and well inspired. I would have liked to see the silk, grass, and bg stylized and vectored in the same way the scans were done so that it all blended together more (rather than having those parts be painted) but nonetheless, the wall is very interesting and nicely done. Honestly, this wallpaper should not be highlighted as anything special. People don't even seem to like it very much outside of the comments... It isn't even number one when it comes to the most popular of the day... This is a weak selection. I am disappointed. You should strip this wallpaper of its "Featured" status immediately, as it is good, but nothing special.

Everyone pretty much said everything, but yea...it's hella creative and you should really be proud of yourself. The grass is the main complaint, though I also think the mountains could use more detail and work. I'm not sure the motion detail works for them, just makes it look like they're trying to run away from the scene. Still, a great wall. Congrats on the HL.

Great idea and good job adjusting the characters to fit the pose of the original. Background and characters could have been blended better with a more uniform style, but that does no real harm to the wall, as it is really a great one. Love to see fresh concepts like this, where you can see that it's not just about the technical aspect but also the waller put some thought into it before he started. Keep it up.

The background has some flaws indeed, and Yuki's pose is weird a little, but the overall concept is so refreshing, that I just don't care about those. (Oh, one more thing, it just my personal preference, but my humble opinion is that a lineless painting style would suit this concept better.) Nevertheless it's still an awesome wall with great style, so well done!

I scrolled down to a Lol. Indeed an iconic and awesome wall.

A wallpaper which is full of creative. The best point is the arrangement and integration of different scans which should be praised mostly. The author mixed the five characters naturally, and it's also creative. Kyon sleeps on the grass, the other members of SOS come to wake him up, Kyon cannot help but extends his hand. All of these are like a real story in 「The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya」. Background is excellent, the feeling of grass is true, but the stone can be better in my opinion. Anyway, it's really great wallpaper, the author's inspiration is unfolded fully. +fav~

This is a great piece of work from you. I like the way you take concepts from other art pieces and incorporating them into anime walls. You did a great job piecing together everything.

It would look better if the rocks had a bit more detail. Detail like some deeper grooves so you're able to add more darkness. Some brighter highlights following the flow of the rocks would be good too.

D: I am amazed.. it's highly creative and I do like this particular wallpaper, even though I hate almost ALL of Haruhi in every context (especially the character - I think I never hated a character of any anime or movie that much).

Still: great work on the characters (the foreground) and the cape + clouds. The grass could use some variation and the moutain-piece looks too blurry/muddy - no real rocky parts or variation in bluriness.

Michelangelo's paintings are usually quite provocative but I rather enjoy the fun aspect that you brought to it here (clever concept by the way). Oh my there's so many wonderful aspects about this paper for me to lavish in but I'll start with what grabbed my attention first, and that is the expression and demeanor of all the characters. You did such a great job in choosing the right image that display everyone's characteristics quite well. The paper presents a perfect blend of chaos and order while Kyon is trying to make sense of it all in the best manner that he knows how (which is a keen sense of sarcasm). And the result is a beautifully, lyrical image that is mysterious and open-ended, foreshortened and elastic. The background is constructed superbly and I marvel at the realism of the grass, it looks really welcoming and has a nice balance. There's also a richness in the color which makes the paper really attractive.

As an aspiring artist I try to take notes from those whom I find quite creative and you are clearly a noteworthy mentor. I think that your work is never the same in terms of style and depth and I've noticed that you like to play with the scale in the depiction of characters or figures, challenging us viewers and our relation to the art in question. There's always a noticeable growth in your art which I enjoy seeing. Admirable work!

from the idea perspective this wall should be highlighted, but from technical its just somehow not for that....i mean grass brush you used is the optional photoshop brush and you could have used much more better grass brushes....then the stone behind do not like it, loos more like a carpet or something like that, and the fact that its just so simple. but i love the clouds :3

I actually don't mind the grass brush at all, which is actually rather odd as I usually loathe grass brushes.

The only thing that isn't doing it for me is the rocks. If they were a little more... rocky, for lack of a better word, this wall would be perfect. The grass, the clouds, and the cape look quite "real" but the rocks clearly look painted which sticks out a little in my eyes.

At any rate, this wall is so totally deserving of it's featured status!

This is very unique because it embodies what the anime is about in a comical way.The only unnatural thing is ,as others have said, is the grass.But very good otherwise.

Really love how you make the whole thing and put them together. Really nice and beautiful. Funny thing is, i like how Kyon's frowning face is right now. Haruhi and the others are also nicely done. Though i felt that, Haruhi's fingers seems like..a little bit small for the wall looking it from a perspective. Her hands should be a little bit bigger to match with Kyon's finger and hand. Well, this is to make sure that it really stands up to the original drawings. :D

Other than that, the grass is really lovely looking. Colorful and life-like. The clouds is also good. Like a field of marshmallows.

In all, this is a really creative and daring wallpaper to ever design it based on the famous drawings. Though what i ever stated is rather my personal thoughts nevertheless. Well, the author really created an Aw3SoM3 wallpaper with a capital A! ^_^
