Gankutsuou: Revenge (is best a dish served cold) e

I think this is an excellent wall, on par with Nat's Gankutsuou effort, infact its a very similar style, a style I like :3

I really like this one too, the background style fits perfectly with the show (you've even replicated some of the elements from the count's sanctuary!) Attention to detail ownz :D I think the only thing I'd change is the patterned outlines on the count. If they were a uniformed darker shade of gold (as it is in some places) the image won't seem so outlined and look more together. Oh, and I liked that gold text XD

wow....so many things going on @_@ u did a pretty gud job putting everything together @_@! the starfields and the clocks n all that stuff is pretty cool >xD. The only thing I didnt really like about it is his huge black cape....I think some subtle textures would help make it less empty. my other gripe is ....the gold outlines. Its cool and all, but....it seems to take away sooo much from the cool bg u created. some of the lines r rather jaggy especially near the point where his cape is tied and it seems to just seperate him from the bg.

dont get me wrong.......well besides my wacky complaints, its still a really nice wall. I really like teh BG @_@!

I really like the bg too. And it really fits with this anime. I like the outline of the character too and none the less, the icy cold hair. Nicely spread star dusts on the bg and I can't make me stop to say "This wall is way awesome!"

Though for me personally the "is best a dish served cold" instead of "is a dish best served cold" bugs the crap out of me. But hey, I'm seeing a psychologist about that and the medication seems to be quelling the grammar rage, so it's all good.

I really like it. I really like the Gankutsuou art, even though I've only see around 5 episodes of it.. XD The eye compass is pretty creepy as well. >_< Keep it up!

I gotta agree with trismugistus. But it's all good. Anyway, except for the slight bevel in "Revenge" (I tend to hate beveled text, although I have to admit that it looks stargely good in this case), it's probably one of the best wallpapers I've ever seen.

And I don't even know anything about this anime. At all. ^_^

only problem- the quote is supposed to be "Revenge is a dish best served cold" haha.. Nice job.

I wish I had your talent and your patience. I think the outline on the count could be a little darker. I'm not sure if it will look better that way, but you could try. ^^

This is a superb wallpaper. I'm in love with all the detail that was put into it. I have yet to see this anime and getting ancy about it. You really brought out the style of the series very well and the BG work is beautiful. It'll be a while before I have that much patience, however its all in good practice. I must keep an eye on your works. Thank you for sharing this with us.

ooo i love this series and this wallpaper is amazing....he looks so sad...great work :)

It's a nice blending of colors; I change my desktop routinely, to avoid boredom, but I kept this one for a while. The gold really does look good with the Count, and it adds to his coldness in a way, making a big contrast.

Nice job.

I like the background and general composition of this piece, but the hair across his face makes it look as though he has a mustache, which wierds me out a bit. Still, a good work! And don't fret about the line being a cliche - it comes from the ending theme (if you listen to the whole version on the OST, and you should because the OST is wonderful) which makes it a good choice.

This wallpaper is a shining example of the artwork that made Gankutsuou so wonderful, as well as what makes your walls so great, Tama. I love the starry look, both in the background with the gold clockwork... thing, and in the foreground, with the Count's hair. And, of course, the Count's presence adds greatly to anything's cool factor. Outstanding work.

(I hope this doesn't read too much like the praise I gave this at MT; I don't remember what I said then, and haven't gone looking for my comment, but I hope I said something new here.)

I love Gankutsuou. I think removing albert was a great idea, too, cause he is a pansy, lol. Great job on the background. It's a lot like the 'sky' or whatever that's in the count's home, but the colors you used on it really fit the feel of the count.

WOW...I really like this Wallie...I start watching the anime some time ago(here in germany,it's hard to find good Fansubs for this) I like the look of his eyes...they forecast nothing good(mwahahaha*evil laughter*)and at the same time they look so deeply sad(melancholy strikes again!!!) Great vector, very nice colors, the random background suits the feel of the anime, the hair texture is pure awesomeness, the Count himself rules... The only think I don't like is the text's glow and the smaller font you chose.

Nevertheless, this wall is way more that good.

This is a gorgeous wall. I love the phrase you used. It does fit the theme of the anime very well. I don't think I'd seen those scan before. You are genius! You removed Albert and it looks as if he was never there. You're good. Your backgrounds looks a million times better than the one in the magazine. This is definitely a keeper.
