Thanks to @siriusalbum87 for the awesome scans which im to lazy to go and link haha. Wallpaper took about 26 hours in total including the vector which took most of the time to actually do, the broken up hand arm being a pain but i did it, and DIDN'T EVEN GET BORED WITH IT ((always get bored with vectors)) Im not sure what the real idea actually was... i winged...once again xD and ended up coming up the those freaky eyes from the 'Gate' Got the idea from the movie where they distory the gate from either side, Ed's face kinda making you not want to go near him. So xD yeah~ Also i wanted it to look like he was coming out from the darkness of the 'gate' hense the drkness covering him slightly
Anyway at first i thought all the metal looked a bit monochrome, so i thought i'd but a but more shades in the tubes thingys and some red writing and a brass whatever thats is And then the wee alchemy thingys no idea what you want to call them

The vector is so distinct and I like your coloring technique. I only wish I know exactly where this scene is from because it looks so epic. The wallpaper is slightly on the darker theme side but I like it, I think it will look great on my desktop. Top of the line work, thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous wallpaper, the colors looks soft and clean, and I love the painting job in it, especially Ed's metallic hand. You'll get extra points if you decrease the dark-abused effect on Ed face. Otherwise this is a well executed wall, Great job! :)

Fabulous wallpaper man. I love the perspective and awesome color choice, it's very vivid but it looks so serious here. The idea behind this is great, he looks like he's emerging from the shadows. Vector looks great but I gotta point out how surreal Al's metallic hand looks, you did a really nice job with the details. I'm not too fond of Al occupying all the space but the picture itself is so astounding that I don't mind that much.

When I compared it to the original scan, I enjoy seeing your incredible transition all the more. The keen attention paid to detail is incredible and I’m especially impressed by your art style and execution of technique. My favorite aspect of the paper is the rendition of Ed’s metallic hand, I think it looks phenomenal and is crafted superbly. There is no indication of light or fluidity in the joints which makes it appear so authentic.
Ed appears to be conquering the prospect of the unknown with an intense fury in his demeanor, which always stems from somewhere passionate (I love that quality about him). To see an artist really grappling with his/her own style and use of colors is truly fascinating. I enjoyed the presentation of this paper very much, and you have my appreciation for making/sharing it!
