Well this is another Tea Kim scan wallpaper. I have to say I am not as pleased with this as other ones, just did not turn out the way I wanted in my head, and the more I think about it the more other ideas I have until I forget the original concept I had. I guess maybe I have too much stuff going on in my head hey ;-) But in any case I have been working on it for about two days and right now I am calling it done. So lets hope this wallpaper goes down with the moderators, who will find it satesfyingly good enough to be posted, otherwise I guess there will be 100 papers from me ;-) This one comeas as usual in 1280x1024 resolution.

The scan is nice, the backround/setting is nice. I think the problem is that they don't sync well. The shading/tone on the girl's skin/clothes doesn't fit with the backround used.
It feels a bit like -but not to that extent- sticking a Suzuhira Hiro wall into a Picasso.
Not withstanding those issues though, it is a nice wall. I'd give it a C

it is very nice the scan looks great wif the bg i like the style of the bg looks very funky i like it alot =] but the text is a bit hard 2 read coz it a bit dark other then that i enjoy lookn at this wp =] i looks really cool!

This is gorgeous. The scan like Decel said is awesome too. I like the font and the way the darkness fades into teh light. Excellent contrast. I've been temtped to see what Hyung tae Kim is about. Keep it up, awesome Wallie. =D

Grr, yip, yip! (My poor dog impersonation, lol) Just call me Ero Senin! Well, the char in the pic is hot, thanks for turning me on to a new artist. Anyways, in terms of the background that you chose.... I think it goes well, despite your unrest. The crisscrossing of the ponytail goes well with the background immediately to the right and left of the char, and the tattoos on the char compliment the ornamental circular patterns that adorn the lettering. The one thing that I can say that I dislike, is whatever image is in the background, beside the obvious pattern of colors is lost, and in that sense, I guess you have a little too much going on. I can't quite make out what it is, besides a few leaves to the left, and to the right....beats me.

Hiya ya'll, once again I appreciate all the comments that I get on these entries, but as tradition follows I am going to replay to all.
Decal - Glad you like the scan of chooice and the background, and I do understand what you mean that they donot sync, that is one of the same issues I have myself. No so much the colours, those I am quite content with but more the brush work does not sync that great. But thanks for comparing my background to a picasso ;-) and I guess I can live with a C ;-) Cheers.
ralph - Glad you like my combination of scan and background. This font was the one font out of hundreds that I was happiest with, I would not run with it but after all it was the best one for the job. But glad that you atleast enjoy looking at it, otherwise I guess I would have failed miserably ;-)
Kakashi0 - Well if you like these scans from his art I defenetly rcommend you check the rest of his work out, there are some scans from him on his name in this group and also under Magna Carta. Glad you like the font, as I said in previous comment it was the best one I could live with, so mighty gla dyou like the contrast of it. Cheers
phoenix617 - It's a pleasure to turn you onto a new artist, This image was the first one I had seen but did not see more until I arrived in this group and found more. Thanks for the rundown of what you like, as I said there is something about it that just don't sit right, but glad you found it too your liking. Well there are three images in the background, all in about 2 till 3 duplicates each and they are of a a book, and two builings, with then have been vectorised into more abstract shapes. But thanks for the constructive critisim, it's really appreciated.

Another cool wallpaper from you, and again, another rare angle of the person ^^ it's great, not complaining about it, it refresh people's mind I like the uniqueness of it, and the background too. Though, I would like to understand what is it made from (the background) I can see a person head's shape.. looking right. and her shade.. (resized to a larger shape) and sadly, I can't decide what is the others.. some of her hair maybe. anyways, Good job!!

Thanks for the comments on Timeless, Thea I do try and have a look what scans have already been used to make wallpapers and then selects ones that have not been used. Did not see this one and I did like the image itself. But thank for calling it unique, great compliment ;-) OK I will break down the main elements in the background, there are two building witch have been vectorised in the background including a low res magan crata image with two girl faces on them (that is what you can see) but it is not the same girl, then there are several gradient elemtns and a couple of simple bursh strokes. But thanks for the comments and glad you like it.

I really like the dark abstract colors int he background, it brings out and emphesizes on the character. The white patches helps balance out the darker colors out and by creating shadows on it, they give the main focus a more realistic feel. Very well done

Geesh! Again an excellent job! (as you can see i found all your papers and i am downloadin ´em... ^-^) I like the Dark and White contrast, personally i think it adds to that great drawing (psss, can anyone tell me how is it, that she she has HALF her dress, but it is STILL Tight??? ñ_ñ )

omggg thats an insane wallpaper. I love how you made the colors very vibrant and stand out very well from the black and dark colors with a few colors that stand out very well in very small portions. the background of this wallpaper is really well done. I like how it fades into the white and fades into the blackness as well. the piece flows all around really well. GOOD JOB!

I like the use of color you used in this picture. The use of a dark brown contrasted by the use of white keeps this picture from getting a dull or dark appearence to it. Instead the picture carries more of an innocence appeal to it. Very well crafted.

Well,i love your wall very much.the character is beautiful and bewitching,she is cool and her clothes is quite gorgeous,i love her especially.as to the background,it is good work,the coloring is good and it matches the character very well,your wall looks very harmonious and i think your wall may be one of the best wallpapers in this series.Nice job and keep up your excellent worrk.
