wow. this'll be the first time i've commented in a while on a wall.. and on anything, really. an absolutely outstanding job on this one, shinn. very unique and well-done, and just very very.. good. it's honestly been quite a while since a wall has been able to catch my attention like this one did. one of a very few of a kind, if i would say so myself.

to start, great work on the vector, as always. i like the scan you chose of deedlit. your right, you don't see many lodoss war walls out there, less one that stands out like this one. the details with her cloak[?] and shadows are admirable. her expression and pose just fit in very well with everything around her and the background as well.

speaking of the background, i personally really like the leaves, and the circle in the center is a rather interesting portrayal of the character. it definitely emphasizes her and adds a respectable focal point to the wall. blah, you say you created the entire outline of those trees from scratch? no wonder it took you 3 months. that is harsh. i can tell you it paid off though; it looks absolutely remarkable and is definitely a spectacular background image for the wall. i honestly would not've known that was hand done if you hadn't said anything. props to you, very much so, on that. you deserve it.

i really like the bordering as well. it adds a nice touch to the wall and somehow brings a form of unity and foundation for it. [err... can't really find a better way to describe it. when i do, i'll let you know =x] it's pretty too ~ great choice of the text-ing as well. i like the font you decided to use, and the title of the series is quite creatively secreted into the wall, too. i like it, and it fits.

overall, just astounding work, really. you don't see many walls like this, at least not now, and like i stated, it's rather unique and has a taste and feeling of its own. colors chosen, placement of scans and other details in the wall, nothing i'd personally change at all. props, once again, and keep it up, shinn.

yay! it's done! overall, i think it's absolutly gorgeuos. the vectoring work is top notch, and really fits together. my only actual comment on it would be about the color choice for the background (the grass/trees). i'm torn on the color you've chosen. i like it, but at tge same time i don't, so i'm wondering how a green would look. it may make the wall look vibrant, but it could also really kill the mood. color in a wall like this is really tough. but thats my only complaint/comment/what-have-you beautiful work shinn. of course i gotta fave :3

Awesome, as always. Some highlights and shadows on the gold border-thing, and maybe a shadow on the spot Deedlit is sitting on would have been nice, but not really necessary. I kind of agree with Kalico regarding the color of the grass because it looks a tad too color coordinated with the background of the circle around Deedlit's head. You could try a nice brown/orange (anything that would remind you of autumn) if you don't want to use green.

Anyways, I'm going to +fav and steal this now. :D

I've been hearing about this off and on - glad to see you've finally finished it! I love the Rayearth frame, it really fits in with the similar fantasy themes of Lodoss and adds some nice embellishment, although the red jewels don't seem to match a lot in the image - I would have chosen perhaps a green like her collared shirt. Also, I think the outlines on the trees in the background makes them stand out too much; a more pure silhouette would have been very awesome. Aside from these little nitpickings, beautiful work as always.

wow. o.o It's too good for eyes as amateur as mine. -cries- It too good! But Record of Lodoss War really is good. I'm so happy that someone has made such an exceptional wallpaper on it. Great work. The details sort of blend in with the simplistic background and the small details that make up the larger picture just make it all work out if you know what i mean. Or you can try to figure out what i mean. hehe.

haha shinn you finnaly made another wallpaper and its top of today, lol gj gj i love it too amazingly, too bad ... im geting people at my skool on here and there server is messed up... so it loged on to multiple people at once and then it loged out and relogs in mattering on whatever page you are on... v_- so i cant post as much... sad sad i know... it looks like you spent a lot of time croping the source picture, you cant really see the spirit of your wirk showing outward into the art of the picture, it looks like you took a lot of time focusing on the background to make it look good as a whole. it is definantly a favorite i kid you not, even though i favorite a lot of things, this would have to be someting i noticed a tremendious amount of work on.

I, and certainly a bunch of other people have been waiting for this one. The whole scene you created is very beautiful and quite original. First of all the color scheme with the 'Autumn-style' is very good. There's also lots of small details and concepts like the circle around her and those decorations on the sides. The vectorwork is great (as always) Hm.... i never been a fan of yellow (pointing on the frame), but that's just me

This is really interesting.. And mesmerizing. It simply looks hmm simple, neat and nice? I guess. It attracted my eyes when I first saw it.. and It's rather similar to something. But I don't know what's that and for sure, it's good ;p Totally love the background and the idea of it, though deedlit's colouring and shading is not really well done.. other than that, great job!

This looks exrodinary...all the elements of color schemes, detail, and image fitts together very well...though I may not know anything about this anime/manga, but its really cool looking character image...this looks like a professional ad for this series.

I fell in love with this when I first saw it. OMG you spent 3 months on this, I dont think I could ever spend so long on something like this. Not even when it comes to my own artwork. I see absolutly nothing wrong with this wallpaper what so ever. The details on the leaves, the ground into the trees. It looks like something that could easily be put onto a tapestry and hung on some wall. Its outstanding, you really out did yourself I love this alot.

This wallpaper extraordinary clean. All or maybe most of its element full vectored, Deedlit vector's and background even the frame. i can imagine how long to finish this (*salute to ShiNN*) cuz i like vectoring too but look at the result, its worth. me surely add this to my favorite

whoa, 3 months?! wow...and the trees from scratch...i'm amazed. The trees are so pretty and clean adn the shape so crisp. very nice job. i'm really impressed

The imagery on this WP is razor sharp, it pratically leaps off the screen at you. WHile I;m not a big fan of white in the background of a WP, this one blends it in such a way that it flows perfectly and doesn; draw your eye away from the centerpiece.

The border as well is a nice touch, and not something I see very often in a WP, and in this case it fits with the char very well, (almost like part of a piece of Jewlery you'd see Deedlit wearing)

Man...the first thing I thought when I saw this was "that must have taken a lot of time", then I thought "that must also have taken a lot of care and love"

I really like the topic of loduss island because it give me a nice memory. Dido is a beautiful elf in that cartoon. Therefore, I especially enjoy the figure in this wallpaper. I can find her sitting on the ground loosely and that is the author's desing. just by means of detecting the picture, we can find incredible harmony. Anyway, it is a really successful wallpaper.

Ive never liked this drawing style. But different strokes for different folks I guess. The backround does fit and completes it well. Its always nice to have a picture of Deedlit with her lute.

Three months to finish? You have a lot of patience, many would already have given up in the first hours ssrsrsrsr
It is true that has a very meticulous work and that it is very well done, but as I am fan of shadier looks I think you could make another version with you hoist being them in the darkness, leaving them black and if possible a to sun putting there in the bottom.
In this way that I am speaking I think will be magnificent.

I feel not to know English and to have to use a program to translate what I write.
