It's been a long while since I've been here. Busy with moving away from home, college, work, relationships, etc
This wallpaper I made a month or so ago when I began vectoring after a hiatus. I tried to make human character vectors, but they just bored me. So I started doing Pokemon. They're all so differently shaped and colored that it's something that's been keeping me interested lately.
Ghost Pokemon are my favorites, and Froslass is is one I'm very fond of. An elegant, icy ghost. As I was making the vector I, out of curiosity, removed the outlines, and to my surprise I liked it 100% better. She looks more haunting. Being part ice type, I added the snowflakes into the background.
The more I'm vectoring, the more I'm liking the look of simplicity- minimal colors, thin or no outlines, basic shapes. I promise it's not just me being lazy ^^;

The vector is really neat and clean + the BG's also pretteh~ <3 But I think there's something missing in this wall----I'm not quite sure what it is though. LOL. (XD)

it's very elegant in a simple way :) i think although the background matches the pokemon in theme, it doesn't really match the pokemon in the style. Maybe the background should be simpler? Otherwise, the vector looks very well done :)

Simple, yet quite effective wallpaper. But I feel the left side a bit empty. You know, not everybody has the icons there. I have them equally on both sides.

While I like the overall feel of the wallpaper (the no outlines especially), I feel that you could have worked with the composition a little more. The biggest thing that bothers me is that bits of the pokemon are out of the image, and the graphic seems to take up too much space. I personally think that if you shrunk the image of the Froslass to about 2/3 of the height of the wall paper itself and widened the resolution to a 16:9 scale, it would give more of an elegant and simple feel to the overall image.
All that said, the image and background itself are beautiful and I like it very much; I just feel the placement could have been better.

Wow!! Love it ~~ <3 I agree, it looks a lot better without the outlines. I would have loved it if this was Froslass because this is such a beautiful vector. The simplicity of the background is also really effective and well done :D
