WICKED. Color is very appealing. The typography somehow makes that illusion of a 3D shape (an embossed one, more or less----but sometimes, when I look at it, it looks engraved. LOL) Text could've been better with different fonts, but making it uniform is OK also.

Much love for the text work!! I think more different shades of light blue and orange would have been nice as well, but that's just me. Gorgeous vectoring and nice choice of color for the background! White works just fine.

I was having deju-vu when I viewed the thumbnail of the wall. I was saying to myself, "wait... this feels familiar." When I read your description, everything made a lot more sense. This is also one of my favorite artworks from redjuice.

Nothing much to say about the wall. Your style of simple vectors really stands out in this wall. Changing the bridge into a typography box is an interesting approach. What makes it even more interesting you colored some the quotes in accordance to the characters.

I wish that you kept the original bridge's hexagonal shape. The narrow side of the bridge could have been filled with a mix of 1/2 liners. Then the wide side of the bridge could have angled down more just like in the original scan. To me, it feels like a cardboard box that's about to fan out from being sat on lol. Background might have benefited from a slightly off-white color to help reduce how blinding it is.

Yup this is redjuice.

Didn't expect isteb producing two consecutive walls of great quality. This does remind of heart464's work. Felt like this was the follow up wall, hehe. I like the orientation of the typography, It's the substitute for the narrow walkway they're sitting on. Nice take on using their quotes for the typography as well. I think it's just me but I have sort of like an optical disorientation of whether the text underneath their buttocks appear deeper than the text underneath Asuka's right leg. Maybe it's just me.

Great collab. Kudos to the two of you.

pretty cool! love the font shape, and think that the continuity of the font helps that a lot. also, like the white bg, and the colors used.

i think it could use a little tweaking though. the colors for the characters are good, but they could use a little more contrast, especially on rei. i think that the faces should be closer to white, and the eyes. then increase saturation of some of the medium shades just a little bit, and decrease it on some of the lighter shades. that'll keep them close to monochromatic, but more interesting to look at. also, mix up the shades of colors in the texts a little. nothing dramatic, but just something more to look at.

finally, i think the shape of the text should be reinforced. if you just add a 20% gray or so at the angle down, it'll give it plenty of strength and really not change the overall feel of the white bg. you could even do so with a gradient and have it go back to white at the bottom. it'll be very subtle, but make a big difference in strengthening the overall feel, as well as composition.

on second thought (man i wish i could edit my wall posts) instead of a gradient on just the bottom half. make a line of the light gray on the angle, then use a gradient in both directions. i think that would work better.

Very nice vector work, the texture added works really well i think. Would work without it too i guess. But good use of textures are always a win win situation :) Awesome work with the typography, really stylish and incorporated with the scan perfectly. This is really being super nit picky on my part but i wish you made the signature go along with the bottom of your main typography. Great job you two, brilliant collab

mm... not too fond of the way the angle of the text changes, somehow as a whole it doesn't feel compact enough (maybe if they were a little more compressed? lol) but then I have no sense for typography.

talk about avant-garde: a wall based upon fan-art based upon nge artwork. helvetica is a great font but im not a fan of the skewed type. nice overall design. i would love to see what the wall looks like with a tan/brown bg. white is just too bland.

The vectors are simple and awesome and I love them. However, you could have done a million other things to the bg that could accompany the text and make the final result a lot more impressive like adding some nice mecha brush design along that outline. And in my opinion, the text is kind of lame. I would prefer seeing more emotional/wise/profound quotes taken from the series. I haven't watched it, but knowing it's length I am sure there would be many quotes like that. Don't get me wrong, I like the wall. I just think it has potential for a whole lot more.

This one is pretty cool, I like the vectors a lot. Also really juicy artwork you used as base ;) The typography is nice too, but what makes this wall so cool is the vectors imo, thanks for sharing!

Wow, typography never fails me. Another style I've seen where texts wind from various directions. The fonts used looks much better and don't outshine the two characters in the wall. and the color schemes fit nicely too. :) +fav

Design is phenomenal here and gives a sense of space and color collaboration. I'm really surprised how much you could piece together just by using words as a basis. Line quality is also very exact which gives a clean feel to the wallpaper. Also, it's cool that even though the words are a kind of rant of some kind - the two girls seem particularly calm. Kinda causes a contrast that catches the eye
