[you really like paper texture, did you :D] IMO i think the main art in the centre is nice, but i don't know about the real pic like pencil, eraser...it's well blend with the art but i'm not fan with mixing style like this, although i think if you really have to use some image i'm suggesting you use brush, palette, and oil paint tubes :D btw cool eraser brand ;]

I like the colors and the rainbows but I'd also say that those real utensils clash too much with the cartoonish look of everything else. I'd suggest to either vector them if you want to keep them or better yet, remove them...just my suggestion. :D

I also prefer the one with the art materials. But then again, different voices, different choices. And I do think we both love paper textures. Seriously, aren't they awesome? good choice.

Also love your decision to keep the colors in the middle. Normally I don't like it when all the hues of the spectrum are involved but this one I like.

Wow it's fantastic! I think you should change the perspective of the text on the eraser because it's a tad wrong if you look at it from that angle but it's hardly noticeable. ^^ +fav

I agree about the art materials--I downloaded the alternate version and think it's really nice.

I would suggest taking out the pencils/erasers etc. The central image is beautiful and they just detract from it.

Looking at the original scan, we have an empty art and refers to a classical in intent.

The way you brought it to the wallpaper changed everything. Here is a wallpaper very happy, because the amount of color, and background to be so simple. He emphasizes working with the scan.

personally I prefer the one with materials... but I guess people just have a matter of taste and just don't compliment the others' taste

but really I'm in love with burst of colors here... it really speaks out... the illustration is really simple. the wallpaper itself is simple but looking at the details lets out the hidden emotions (naks!) in it

"kaleidoscope world" can mean a lot and draw different perspective from different people and I guess that's one attribute of your wallpaper

Sorry for the late comment! I don't quite like Kunie Kanbara's works, but they do tend to make nice wallpapers, haha. I like the rainbow idea and the coloring of their dresses. But I think the colors are somewhat thick. I think lighter colors like the original would feel more fresh and liberating. Also, having the rainbow lines more curved might match their dresses more. 8)

The only thing I see that could use improvement is the lineart... like have it look more brush-like. I think it would make it fit better with the theme. Otherwise, nice!

What I really like about this wall is the simple content. I always gives me hard times to think of something simple so I appreciate your choice. The splash-like colors are also a nice hint and also the texture fits very well. In overall it's a neat, clean and creative wall. Good job.
