Hiya Happy friday ya'll So time for another wallpaper submission, and another round of prayrs that this will go down witht ht emoderators ;-) Well this is a scan I thought I had a good grips on what I wanted to do with, but then that got lost somewhere between my desk and the coffeemachine, so I had to salvage the little my imagination retained, and this is the outcome. Well since it looks like a young adult, I thought blossom would suit it well, and the colours is mostly picked from a picture of roses that I have. Hope you guys like it and this one is in 1280x1024

I have to say this way is awesome, but kind of wierd too....I mean, the character is obviously happy and cheerful, but all the red and black give a negative foreboding mood. Nice intricate work on the background though. Good wall!

nice wp, it really jumped out at me when i saw the fingernail. it was even nicer when i opened it up :) love the detail in the bg and you did an awesome job on the character. it's alittle too much red but the detail of the bg makes up for it.

ooh i like it, its very cute and the colors are very nice blendid together , and the name of it is very cute, i also like the kind a way she is standiing in, like she is walking down the stairs, of something, well i think that the edges of the image os the girl are a little of in some places , and well thats all i can say about it, no wait i need to add it to my fav+ list right away:love: love anime11:lol:

i have ta say it's a pretty cute wallie! ^^ i wish you put more of an atmosphere to it. i'm really not feeling the red grunge at all. should add a certain landscape and then probably tint the image red. overall i like it

congratulation on being the THE wall. heheh. i look at it and feel like is she going to jump or just stand there waiting for me to jump with her. haha ok kidding. but it does give the wall a depth of heightness..(is that even a word), making the wall giving someone a piece of mind that nothing is out of limited. great wall

nice wallpaper. i especially like the way the background is laid out. it looks like is had many parts to it but is still blended nicely together. it's much more interesting then a simpler background with typical patterns. the coloring looks great as well. the shades of the jacket match well with the background. the title it also subtly put in. doesnt look out of place. good job. keep up the great work.

hmm well, i won't call it cute cos I didn't find it cute.. anyways, yeah, again, it's quite rare to find a scan in that position, other than that, great job on the background.. though i must say that the red is a little overwhelming ;p Ignoring those, this is another great wall that you made keep on the good job!

lunagiven2u - I can understand that you don't feel the grunge, don't feel it that much also, however I just could not find the exact brushes I wanted, I had some brushes I could have used but had just used them on other wallpaper, and don't feel much like repeat working on it. However not sure a landscape image would work inthis situation as the angle is right above anime charachter so would not look that great, unless perhaps I made a scenic carpet ;-)

skybluelinen - Thanks for the kind words, well the background had several components to it, including a couple of stock photosos and a couple from me aswell, aslo added was some brush work, some shapes and some minor effects. I do hope it was 800x600, but it's still ok, I guess ^^ The scan is nice and clean, though I don't know what this series is about.. I don't really know why you picked 'Blossom', but the font and position on the wall is great. Like it. It seemed a little weird to me on first impulse, choosing all that red for Hattie. But shortly after, all the red around reminded me of the damaged little girl's past, and I thought the color worked splendidly. Was this on purpose, or did it just turn out lucky for me?

Wow, such a great effect here! The bright, rich red gies it all a foreboding feel, so appropriate to the series, but against that you have Hattie looking so bright and cheery. Absolutely fits the tone of her character, and also makes for a lovely visual here.

Emm...what got me attracted to this piece? It would mostly have to do with the camera angle which I don't get to see quite often in wallpapers. That was the first thing that caught my eye out of the many other equally unique submissions.

Background seems to take on a partial abstract style since the character is standing on a rocky surface, giving the wall a fiery and yet upbeat feel (mainly due to the smiling character in a playful pose). Anyway, red hues goes pleasantly well with the dark reddish-brown jacket and beige-toned skin and hair. Very nice. The tilted positioning of the text is a nice touch too.

Overall the character is clean and crisp but could benefit from stroking and set at low opacity to give the hair ends a more crisp finish. Either way, it's still a good piece of work nonetheless.
