hey, I love the bg, it looks fantastic but... i think a different scan could have been good. Don't get me wrong the effects and effort you put in are great but harmony in a wall is an essential basis. I think you need to combined your efforts more harmony, and then your art would be wonderful, good luck and great job ^^

not a great dan of the background, looks like a texture fill from paint shop pro or the like, that could do with some tweaking. i like the image altho its not the clearest amd possibly not the best suited for a wallpaper.

also not liking the txt on the paper, just seems tagged on at the end. also the words hidden emotion kinda arent so relevant to the couple as throughout the series/ova etc. the characters emotions were very clear and definately not so much hidden.

i like the idea of the wallpaper but not the execution im afraid, better luck nxt time

as you suggested the background needs to be altered. the emotion you are trying to capture is evident and i really like it. a great wall indeed, keep up the creative juices.

I like the scan that you used and it's colored really well, but the abstract background doesn't do the foreground justice. A more realistic or less garish bg would have been better. But other than that, great job!

I love the background and the way you made the caracters cartoons was a neat way to show their emotion. 3D might have looked better though and mabye a light beam shining on them as well, but hey looks good as it is.

Wow, I love this scan. Great CGing, though the outlines are a bit too dark. The only qualm I have really is the BG.. It's very simple, and it'd be uberuber if it had more a scenic background... It'd be so realistic! But that's all personal. I admire your CG skills!

Perfect wallpaper, its reflects all the hidden emotions between this two caracthers during this anime series.

I think this is really great, the blood is really vivid >_> and I like the perspective, but I would really prefer if the background is a lot more simpler. ^^; Great work nevertheless

YEAH!! BLOOD!! I love bloody pictures, its very good, but you should try to show agony expressions, or something like that, that makes the image a lot more interesting, well, for me, if you don't want to show any expression, maybe try to be more specific

It's almost as if the backdrop to Mitsuomi and Maya is like the glass shattering around the face Mitsuomi gives out of being a stone cold totalitarian leader. If not, an emotionless fighting machine hell-bent on recognized control of all the different martial arts within his society. Or is that the same thing?

Anyway, I regress. Personally, I think the background, the colours and textures used fits exceedingly well with your choice of caption. Everything balances out throughout the wallpaper, and there is no 'empty space' which is a big thing sometimes in an emotion that you are trying to display. The only thing that I would suggest on, is having the caption up and away from the boarder a little bit.

it's really great that you made a wallpaper of this. it's one of the most dramatic scenes in the story. also i think the title fits very well because both maya and mitsuomi were trying to pretend like they didn't love each other anymore but here it showed that mitsuomi still cared very deeply for maya. awesome wallpaper!
