First of all, this is a super late Birthday gift for dear kairi-hearts . Gomen ne? Your dame-neechan is swamped with RL (and babysitting ;__;). But, I hope you like it. Hey! It's smexy Luka after all! ^^
Second of all, this is also my entry for vector-wallers@MT New Year Resolutions Challanges. 1- More UraBoku for me. Yeah, I know it's actually this year resolution. But to my horror, I realized I only made 4 UraBoku vector this year (including this one). Which is no good. I had a long list of UraBoku to vector, and heck there's 3-4 that already 70-90% done ^^; So, I'm bringing this to next year. 2- Improved my background. *sigh* This always been my problem. And I think this wall pushed me to my limit. And gods knows how many time I actually gave up doing the background! I still can't make my own background, but I wanna try doing it someday.
And lastly, this is also to celebrate UraBoku anime. I intend to finished this much earlier (after the official announcement back in August), but.. yeah. Anyways, the anime will start airing in April on Chiba TV with all drama CD cast returning. YAY! (more Sakurai X Hoshi!)
Well, enough that and onto the wall. This is one hellish project I've ever made! Vectoring Luka himself wasn't that hard. But I'm kinda stuck after that. I wanna change the original stairs into something else, but couldn't come up with anything. So I end up vectoring the stairs too. And for the stairs, it took me quite a while coz I hate the way I originally painted it. I tried many different styles before getting this one. Not good enough, but I like the way they turn out. Next is the biggest problem I had. The main background. I scrapped out like more than 10 background and actually gave up so many times. Until, few days ago I decided to try again (after being "forgotten" for 2 months ;_;) and this is what I got. I love how the cross and window turn out, and I even use the same styles as the stairs to paint it! But not so much on the clouds. Urghh.. I handmade them using basic brushes and yesh, it sucks. No need to tell me that ^^ Afterward, I decided to smash up the stairs a little. At first I made it just like the originals, but when I added the windows on the back, they look a little strange. So I "smashed" it just a little, so the stairs ends there. Look weird, huh? Oh well ^^ And lastly, I decided to put the wording on the cross >__<
For the title, I actually couldn't come up with anything. But when I finished the wall I kinda remember Yuki and "Beautiful Stranger" just pop out. I mean, when Yuki first met Luka he's like "I've never met such a beautiful man before". So, the title is actually Yuki first impressions of Luka ^^
P/S: Special thanks to AduialPeredhel-chan for the scans and Kara-chan & Erika-chan for shoving me some ideas for the background!
EDIT: *sigh* I forgot 1 more thing. From now on, I won't be able to vector as much as I had before. My RL is really killing me, esp with baby Aaron REFUSED to part from me. I'll try find some time, but it'll probably took a very long time before I can finished one ;__;
EDIT 2: Thanks to trofi-chan who realize my missed, I uploaded a new version with a little light this time ^^ (thanks chibimisao!) I even removed the moon too (it's too distracting ^^)

Lovely vector as usual. < 3 However i wish you added in more lighting effects throughout the wallpaper to give it more depth. The light source would be the windows. So it should be lighter where the windows are and darker at places where the light would'nt hit. Still a lovely wallpaper though. < 3

Yay, a new wall from you~ I love the background scene, so full and dark <3 Though I do have an issue with the darkness, it's not doing anything for the walls mood, it's just plain dark and it makes it look kinda flat. You could overlay a dark blue gradient or something and perhaps put a white glow on him to show the moon's light.
The bars of the windows could use more shades, also the same moon glow as him if you were to add what I suggested above.
That yellow thing over there is waay too bright and out of tone for the wall. Make it alot darker, try looking at some references in anime scans using yellow in dark scenes. The brown bars are also a bit too bright, make it darker brown, though the gradient should do that for you.

Loong description o.o *_* he looks so sexylicious xD Love the bg, the colors fit so well with him and absolutely love his clothes, they look awesome and I know how hard it is to deal with dark colors since tends to have artifacts but there's none here. Good luck on the contest. Hell yeah, can't wait for the animu =D

I think it look very good.... The background look awesome so i say your effort did not go to waste... I like the scene and the seductive look of Luka... One thing i think it will be it better will be if the outline is thinner. But this is really minor stuff...
And i really like the costume.. I say this wallpaper is really beautiful!!!

I did not expect that one day I'd find a wallpaper I really like but which also has my screen resolution *___*/my first impression, but now to the wallpaper itself. Despite it being night in the wallpaper, the main stuff is actually bright. But through lowering the light and saturation this little makes such a difference and creates such a wonderful dark atmosphere /(oOo)# Also, I think the efforts you put in the background are not lost. That's just like how the reader's point of view differ's from the author's xD + fav + download [strike]+ fangirling[/strike]

Another great wallie. <3 The vector is sooo pretty. I like how the stairs are cut shorter, and I like the cross and the words on it. :D And the windows are just pure awesomeness. The title is really fitting. xD Love your wallpapers, they are all awesome, but this one is my favourite. So dark. <3
