Been waiting for a Tatami wallpaper since I am both a fan of the show and Yusuke (and not coincidentally the Asian Kung-Fu Generation, which he does the album art for),the wait was worth it. Very nice, I like it alot.

I really like the original concept and your creativity (especially the umbrella idea). Good choice of colors and well done in every parts. Added on my favs.

Finally a Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei wallpaper...

I was beginning to wonder why such an amazing series hadn’t had a wallpaper, especially since the original character designs where made by Yusuke Nakamura . There are countless of Nakamura’s wallpapers, but not a single one for this series, figures...

Anyways, I really appreciated you taking some of your time to make this.
It looks great, especially the colors and textures. Outlines could use some more work though, if I might say.

PS: it’d be nice if you could link us to the sources (screenshots, scans, etc) used to make this. Just for us to get a better idea of what was done in terms of composition-design.

I am always adored with vector walls.... I'm sure that you almost burned your eyes after staring at the computer for such a long time... Nakamura's illustrations is one of my inspirations and I'm happy you've been faithful to his style...

now going to the wall, are the other scenes in the BG are made by Nakamura too? if that is so, then I must totally bow down to your skills... perfect vectoring! its really clean and I like the burst of colors in this wallpaper! the simple artwork is there but the colors give it a more lively feeling!

Good vectoring we have here, damn like the idea with the four seasons there. Nakamura's symplistic style can be really refreshing after all the heavy gradiented vectors what are so popular recently.

THIS IS SO GORGEOUS. I love it so much, everything about it is perfect. Your vectorwork is wonderful, especially with what you had to work from. The wall looks textured and smooth all at once, which is really visually pleasing. My favorite part is the rainbow splashing onto his umbrella.

I like the creativity in the wall.

The simplicity of the wall relaxes the eyes and leaves more time to work on the concept. A four seasons themed wall that made it a bit more fun instead of just sectioning all the seasons. The rainbow from the spring wall splashing into his umbrella is really funny and clever. I like the puddle under the girl. Instead of it just being a puddle of water, it looks like a gateway to somewhere deep underwater with fish that can magically fly out of it. The sun and the moon of their umbrellas adds a contrast between their personalities. I have only watched maybe 1 or 2 episodes (so I don't know jack) and I remember the guy always being active and the girl was more calm and collected.

Yay! Tatami Galaxy has been unforgivably underrepresented on this site. I like the four-season concept. My only issue is with the characters themselves. Their faces feel sort of flat and bland. I don't know if it's an accident of the vectoring or the scan that you used originally. Otherwise, though, it's a nice wallpaper.

Yusuke Nakamura and his art ... his works are very unique and has its own trademark that describes it is her Yusuke ... a lot of his works were used as the cover CD of Japanese bands .... one that fills Ajikan also Yojouhan Shinwa Takei anime OST .... I really like your work .. I'm waiting for the works Other related work Yusuke :).... nice wallpapers ... good job ... exelent work ... would I add this to the list of my favorites :)
