Very nice! Refreshing to see some minimalist walls. :) Totoro here looks a little dark, perhaps he could use some dodging or highlights to pop him out a little more. You could even make little spots of highlights, suggesting light shining through the leaves.

Awww... how can anyone not love Totoro? The only thing that is wierding me out a little is the text says one fine day, but it's looking a little misty in the background there :P

It makes me think of one of those classical Japanese / Chinese scroll paintings. In fact, if you painted Totoro and the tree in the classic style it would make for an amazing wall! And you could put one of those signature kanji stamps in the bottom corner to complete the effect (XD)

Cute wallpaper! I Agree with nysha that totoro could use some shine and highlights on him. As for the tree, you did a good job painting it, but i wish the lines did'nt have a blunt end and instead ended more naturally. Well lovely wallpaper anyway. Oh and i like the ones with the dust spirits. :D

Aww.. I love this wallpaper, especially for its simplicity. Not much in the background except for totoro and a tree, which plays out really well. You did good on the vectoring.

It looks very nice, although the foreground has a kind of "pasted" feel, it doesn't blend with the background. I might find fault with that, but I actually like the look here. It adds to the stark simplicity of the piece. Besides, where would Totoro ever really "blend in"? :)

love the simplicity and the background. I definitely prefer the background in this version over the others. Totoro and the bark lines on the tree seem to be lacking a little depth compared to the shadows everywhere else though. Overall, great job!

That brings me memories I see this wallpaper by far one of the best films of Hayao Miyazaki. Now we're going to talk about the wallpaper itself, I like both versions you did but I can not decide for one so I'll take both XD. The colors are well balanced and all stick together, the shadow that you did to Totoro went very well and the wallpaper has no waste so it goes straight to my favorites my friend ^ ^.

I love Totoro and this use of negative space against him and the tree is very well designed. It had a great neutral color scheme and makes this a very good desktop for my computer. :) I think both versions are very good but I like how this one is more simple.
