This was my entry for Vecta Desu #9. The theme was weapons.
The artist for the original image is Koutaro.
Instead of choosing a traditional weapon such as swords, Knives or Guns, I immediately thought of the scan I had seen for this image.
I placed 9th with the first revision of this vector.
This is the second revision. I have not uploaded the original version as I don't believe it was worthy of being in the gallery. I was very unhappy with the unfinished result of it, due to time restrictions brought about by study. So instead I have put my effort into redoing this vector so that I can present it to you in it's finished state.
The original colours of her clothing have been changed, they were in tones of Olive green, which I personally disliked and felt it detracted from the overall look of the image. I decided on a blue colour scheme simply because I prefer blue. =P
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this vector. I'm glad to finally present it here to you.

The first thing i notice are all the dark colors to her, giving that sort of shady kinda dark look, i love her eyes too, the color the expression like she's lost in thought, adds to the darkness a bit...

I absolutely love the changes you've made! Going for the blue/gray colour scale makes this much more of an eye-catcher, not to mention the empty look in those eyes! It sends shivers up your spine, a well deserved thumbs up X3

You added the missing polish on it but there is still some things that can be tweaked for a better result :3
Adding some gradients to smooth out transitions especially on the shadow part would be nice.
Some parts are blurred which blur is too uniform. It's kinda out of place I think so it might be a good idea to remove the blur and add some shaded shape in place.

This is something unique. It was good idea to use scissors. Only thing that bothers me is that is this girl sad or crazy.
