Hey everyone! Its been sometime since I last submitted a wallpaper! So I decided I should make one so as not to get rusty or anything. Ive been watching Black Cat now and I really like the character Kyouko. The idea for this wallpaper came from the opening of episode 13, A Love Cat. It shows Kyouko getting up out of bed and heading off to school. When I seen this I knew I wanted to take a swing at it! If you do not watch Black Cat the image is below to show you the ORIGINAL.

Now, in MY version I traced it, colored it, and changed it from morning to night. I took altogether 6 hours or so with roughly 25 layers left on the final image. Only thing I dislike is her hair, as you can see from the screen shot I didnt have much to work with. So I did it the best I could.
This is second time doing a trace from a screen shot and my FIRST adding color and textures to an otherwise colorless image. Comments and feedback welcomed! Enjoy :)!

Use illustrator! it's much better XD:) I like the pattern on the blanket so badly :3:) looks flat aka needs more shadows

Overall a decent wallpaper...illustrator would have made it better but it seems alright...great idea though...the outside does look cool with the shining moon. oh yeh, i love the pattern on the purple wall...it was well done :)

The trace is good but you shuld use illustrator and vector is better. Still Good job.

you have inputed the right amount of creativity, the choice of style for this type is very fitting and to be able to do all this from just that screencap is really ....difficult i imagine... atleast for me it will be^^ C: any tips?

at fist glance i though it was just simply video captured image, but looking closer, i see you made at lot of changes, and must have took a lot of time to do it. its a good trace, but they're right maybe using illustrator's better. :)

Very good!! The background of the wallpaper is sharp but it will not be more attractive than the characters... very natural, excellent!! You have done a great job!! Hope to see your coming wallpapers =]
