Ahh, a wall. Probably the last wall for a while... if not forever xD.
I started this in May this year (23/5/10 - exactly 7 months ago! O__o). I wanted to celebrate 5 years of walling for myself, and to beat the last wall I did in terms of skill. I think I did, I'm never vectoring green glass again xD. This has been one of my favourite scan for a while and it was all pink! 8D
It was weird since I couldn't see any way of vectoring this scan with outlines, so I had to go lineless, a style I haven't seen in MT for quite a while. I'm very proud of her hair, which was the most tedious part of vectoring this scan. I actually haven't vectored hair in a while, usually I cheat and paint it. This kind of hair... you can't really paint. Her hat was quite frustrating too, so I found my own lace on google images and vectored it instead xD.
Thinking up the background was pretty tricky (I probably should've thought it out earlier but usually I don't... I'm a spontaneous waller). I wanted to go with a rococo influence. I used a frame from another greenglass scan and vectored it. I vectored all the other little tidbits and threw them in... I'm not satisfied with the way they've been incorporated but I didn't want to waste them either. I'm not sure about the second inner frame either, I can remove that in an alternate version.
I'm sorry, I don't remember very much since this wall is nowhere near hot off the press xD. I'll add to the description if I remember any more.
Title vaguely based off of Far East Movement's "White Flag", but I think the lyrics actually went "lay down that drawbridge for your king". But you get the gist of it :D

I can tell that you put a lot of work into this...and I love the overall design. The only thing is that I really think you DO need the outlines. She looks...really strange, especially in contrast to the scan. I don't think it's necessary to do the hair, but at least the face and clothes. The face definitely needs it because you can't even tell she has eyebrows...It all just kind of blends together. I'm not saying it'll be easy, and I can see why you'd say it'd be hard to do it with outlines, I just feel that aesthetically it's lacking without it. Good effort though! It's very impressive work.

I'm so happy for you that this is finally done <3 Green Glass is never an easy task but you managed to add your own style to it and that's something very praiseworthy.
Honeslty I would never thought that those fonts would have fit so perfectly your wall. Great work!

ZOMGWTFHBBBQROFLMFAO!!! It's SO GREAT to have you back! LOL. This wall's pretty----PINK. LOL. And girly too. It's not screaming rainbows but I really love the colors and the simplicity of it. Makes it more focused on the girl. Really nice job. <3

Ohai pink =D Hats down for that hair. so many curls, your eyes go zigzag xD I like the soft colors and the flowers, her face looks a tad weird, doll like(creepy) xD I'm happy to see something from you, even if its not KHR. =D

i love the soft feel of this. its got a very 'fuwa fuwa' feel to it and its just...so soothing to look it. Its the particular pink colors that you selected plus a lack of 'hard' outline - make it so very striking and lovely to look at :D

Caught my eye the thumbnail and I wasn't disappointed not even the faintest when I watched the full size version. Her hair is just incredible, and her eyes top it off.. stunning! (love the accessories around the mirror too, very cute) Love both versions!

The details are amazing! The hair is just so ... natural? don't now how to express it. Even from the preview u can already tell - a lot of work has been done!

I saw the original picture of this and when I saw this I was like....WOOOOW! I am amazed you were able to do this picture. U did so amazing on the detail! U must of have much patience to do this picture. I say this is such a beautiful picture :)

The girl is made very well (thats a real deal vexeling) and the whole wallpaper is very pink and girly - what I really like practically in any composition. But unless others here I'm not very fond of the text, especially with the fact being boxed, and the used font of the word Queen is not quite what I would call as a artistic piece. Minor thing though, the wall itself is good and tahts the important.
