Finally done with this wallie. I think this is the most challenging thing I have ever done, but I felt like doing it.
When I kept staring at the piccie of these pilots for some reason I imagine them in a room. Not exactly this room, but some room. lol If I were to explain what all I did to this, this will be some sort of novel or something because I did alot of things. Alot of fun things. By far the wall I had the most fun with so far even if it might look messy in places or whatnot...
I really don't care about the flaws on here because I wasn't aiming for perfection. I did this for fun and man I had an awesome time. And I just hope those who are also fans of these pilots likes it as well for what it is. I enjoy Gundam Wing. Wufei being my favorite and Quatre next to him followed by Duo, then Trowa, then Heero (though to be honest I'm not much of a fan of Heero, but I love the gundam he pilots lol). I might have more GW wallies in the future. Though I don't think it'll be like this.
Since it'll take me a bit of time explaining the technical process I'm just going to say I was so feeling like I was playing the Sims 2 with this wall. Haha I was designing there room by putting furniture in and the wallpaper for the walls and the floor and all that jazz.
Now how am I going to do this...

Yep, I submitted it here. I knew it would have gotten some iffy comments. I knew it would have, but my mood is telling me to fight back. lol Well not fighting, but not worrying or stressing either. I just want to say thanks for all the support and I read your comment on TheOtaku about this and Quatre. XP lol I'll take your advice to account since really out of everyone you know my history in walling. Imma go crawl back in my cave...I'll talk to you sometime. :3

Nice idea. However - the execution is not very clean. For example the plants are not extracted cleanly - you still can see some brighter outlines on them. The aquarium or w/e it is on the left is too blurred and feels upscaled. Also the quality of the texture(s) on the guys looks odd - you should've tried to improve the quality of the scan some more. As I said: the concept is interesting, the execution could use some improvements.

I know it can be cleaner and I could have made it cleaner, but I did this wallpaper for fun and I wasn't really worrying about how sloppy the result could have been or was going to stress myself about it. I appreciate your words on it and what not if it makes you feel better. lol

Like divStar has already said, it's an interesting idea but the execution kind of lacks. I suppose the plants can be fixed and scans cleaned but those candles on the table need shadows beneath them. Also, the thing that bothers me the most is Trowa behind that cabinet - it looks like he's 'sprouting' out of it or is trapped in the corner by it...
I know you weren't aiming for perfection and all so this looks pretty okay but some things/details still need more attention. Good luck with your next projects!

Like I told divStar, I know I could have improved on executing and whatnot, but that wasn't on the forefront of my mind when creating this. I'm all up for quality walls and whatnot. But this particular one I was going out of my comfort zone to do and I wasn't looking to create something perfect to fit "you all" standards of the perfect wall. Because quite frankly, I wasn't caring about meeting standards when creating it. To each their own, but I appreciate your words if it makes you feel better.

Glad you like the style. I have been told on another site as well as by my fiance Quatre seem a bit strange. lol So its all of the pilots...well when I was creating it, it made sense to me. XD But thanks for your comment. =)

I really like this wall. I feel like Quatre and Trowa are weirdly covered but I assume that's from the scan used. I like the homey feel that this has though. I can always imagine the pilots all like living in the same house XD I think you did a great job.

Very nice idea, I like this wallpaper for the effort. However, it isn't clenly edited. The composition is hurting you too with Wufei hiding behind a plantted palm oddly and Quatre kinda sitting on the couch, but when you look at his body closely he's actually fading into the couch, than sitting there. It's a tad awkward...

Thanks for your critique. If I ever try my hand at doing another wallpaper like this I shall keep your words in mind. I was doing a lot of experimenting so yeah. ^^; Plus I should have took my time. Thanks again for your words.
