I had a Dream about This wallpaper, doing it, figure out how it would be. And the same day I started. There is a lot of personages I love on this anime world, Sesshomaru is one of them.
Is the first time I do this, I want to dedicated This wallpaper to @TheMajor (i'm so glad to meet you) and @Mikamura (hoping you come back) my first Friends here on AP such lovely and nice persons. I hope you like because I am dedicating my dream >//<
Using this image. This time I try to do the vector by other way, adding many shades and different tones, (like blue, turquoise green, celestial blue, grayish blue) originally is not on the scan, but, I want to improve the art itself until the wallpaper. I had to add many gradient to every little thing on him, dress, face and hair, play with many lights. At the beginning, I tried to search for an screen capture of the anime (sure, I found it) where we can see him calm, maybe with sad eyes.. but I already knew that image I choosen and I said: "yes I like it, but too egocentric and Overbearing!" but then, I dream about it, and I can't resist to do it...
With the BG I thought about a moon on the daylight, with sparkles appearing from the down. Mostly the hair on the air full the WP.
I had a problem with the title (again) at the beginning would be, like "love me? hate me? I don't care" then I was seeing the wall and like a wishper on my ear, I hear: "Serenity" and I got it, common but nice. But still I like both titles. I put both versions and textless. The best is textless =D Fixed, about the stroke, the shade on his eyes =P and fix some details that I forgot to add on his clothe, the kimono =P (thanks for the tips!)
Like three days doing the vector, and a couple of days with BG and effects.
Love him? hate him? He, as character, he use to be on both ways to many people who knows him. Being a Bad or Good boy, he is great personage, always sharing something different as himself. A deity, A wolf, a man =)

Hi there sexy. Pretty nice one, I like the colors, you might want to soften the back at his eyes thou, doesn't match with the soft color scheme you got going on. I think you extended the hair nicely, but there's still some things that give it that noob vibe, I'm guess it's the stoke paths and the stars that look kinda fake.

I must say the overall wall looks very pretty, I like the way you extended hair though I'm not sure what those light curved strands in the upper right corner are for; it looks like his hair is curved inward or something. I'd add more pronounced shading on his skin and like Tina had said - lighten the black of his eyes. I'm not too fond of the blunt stroked paths for hair either; they work well for some inanimate objects but on hair, it's better to use shape layers - that way the ends of his bangs would have those nice, sharp ends instead of the blunt ones.
But yeah, the colors are very pretty and the overall mood quite magical, so good job on this and keep it up!

the base image is very simple but your version is completely original and looks with great harmony.

Uh Yeah... It's my all time favorite character Sesshy! OMG thank you.. a dedication wow! I have always treasured our friendship, I'm really lucky to have meet someone as wonderful as you. I remember your one of your first wallpapers, I faved it knowing you had amazing potential and passion for the art. And in it I found an irreplaceable friend.
Now for the wallpaper...light colors are almost harder to work with than BW. Sesshy just shines and his mystical aloof presence is entirely preserved. This has a bit of realism about it. I like how you paid attention to detail and I can even see the stars in the BG, I know it's a filter but it looks great! +FAV & DL!

Sesshoumaru is one of my favorite male characters of all time its nice to see him in such a warm and soft wall since most of the time he is in a dark and night-ish wall the vector looks nice but i think i can be improved on the part of his hair

This image makes me wonder 'What is he thinking?' It is very nicely done. I like your use of softer colors all over, except on his facial details. It strikes a good balance. This is a favorite!
