First of all I have to thank everyone in Session Zero. Without their help and support I wouldn’t be able to make this wall. Their comments really helped me a lot.
This was not the first wallpaper I made, but is the first where I really worked hard. I tried a lot of things on the scan but in the end I decided to turn it black and white and paint it myself (I don’t know how to vector - shame on me :D). I rebuilt some parts like Yukari’s eyes and leg. It was the very first time I made it; I know it stills needs practice.

The article in the background I wrote it myself based on wikipedia and some other anime reviews I found on the internet.
For the background I used a newspaper texture from photoshoptutorials.ws and a brush (digea rust brushes) from getbrushes.com
Program used: Adobe Photoshop CS3
Number of Layers: Around 60 (50 on the scan; 5 for the background; 2 more for light adjustments)
Time Needed: A lot (I started making this wall at the beginning of November, and finished it at the end of December). I spent most of the time deciding myself what color I should use or if something stays better this or that way and end up deciding for the first thing I experimented… I also spend a lot of time learning how to make the stuff I wanted (I’m just a freshman amateur in photoshop).

Congrats on the approval, it looks great! I like how you chose to make everything shades of blue - very clean and classy. You really improved and learned a lot of things while making this wall, and it shows. You should be very proud of yourself ^-^

I'm sooooo late to see the end product of this wall.
Anyway, the scan looks better after the cleaning. The bg also looks better then the previous one. Good job on that.
To improve your walling, you still need to learn and practice more. ( am still in the process as well...XD)

Thanks Reesha! And thanks for the support you gave me in Session Zero. I already have a lot of ideas for new walls, but time is too short for making them... I'll try to come with new stuff soon..

This wallpaper is gorgeous! I see this picture of George and Yukari around a lot on the web, but you did a really good job in cleaning it up and making it into such a nice wallpaper! I especially love your color scheme! Choosing to paint them all blue really suits the mood of the series, since the love between the two of them was always so bittersweet, and the melancholy amongst the sweetness is well brought-out by the color blue in my opinion. :) I also like the news article for the background, and the smudges on it. It really helps to create an overall coherent mood in the wallpaper. Great job! :)
