Happy New Year everyone~

This is my 1st wallpaper summit in 2011, Le Rubis Brillant, from kurenai. Le Rubis Brillant in a French word, mean The Brilliant Ruby in english.

Well, because the anime title name: Kurenai mean Red, so i decide to created a red concept wallpaper. The most hardest part for me is to trace the Murasaki's clothes. It's take me fully whole day to trace it, lucky the result is satisfy for me (n_n)V.

The characters in original scan was black hair, but I think the crimson red may more suit for my concept, so I just change to them.

I try many idea for the BG, finally I choose a simple & plain BG, is because it can make the characters more pop up & easy to focus. I try add a little design behind the characters hope it look not too bored. The title design also take me a lot of time, wish it's ok.....

As always I use Illustrator & Photoshop to created, I hope you'll like my wallpaper, even though I'm pleased with this but I still have the feeling that I could do more. Enjoy and I will be glad if you leave me some comments. (^_^)

i like different shades of red/purple in this wall. the vectors are wellmade. but though i understood your purpose to make bg simple, the wallie should be better, i think, if you'll add smth more into bg. for example, you may extend the typo, add more text, play with different fonts... or instead, you may extend your idea with that swirls on bg, for example, add it in the left-down corner of the wall... but overall it's good job!))) i like it! happy Holidays! ;)

Good work. I want to add one thing before anyone downloads this wallpaper:

Because of .jpgs crappy compression with the color red, the .png version of this wallpaper looks much much better. Now that that is said...it is funny because I had just checked the Kurenai section of the site to see if there was a new Kurenai wallpaper just yesterday, and was disappointed to find none...but the next day, I see one, so I was happy!

You did a good work on this wallpaper. It looks very clean in the .png version. Perhaps a tiny bit more could have been done with the background, I dunno, but anyways, I like it.
