oh man i'd love to use this wall right now for my desktop but it seems that i've "Reached my download limit" =\ anyways, from the thumbnail it looks really good ^^;; im downloading this wall as soo as possible. also added it to fav :)

o.O whoa, you've done some major vectoring on that scan, it looks pretty clean and neat. The cityscape really suits it and I like what you have down with the text =] ...however, the bg looks rather monotone, just my opinion. Overall it's good. *fav*

Imo, I REALLY REALLY love the vector and everything for this wall. But 1 thing really made everything go off. The houses at the background look out of place. You have some awesome vectoring skills, I think you should have applied that to the houses, too. Otherwise, everything is top notch. ;)

A little uncharacteristic for Asuka, but very soft and soothing, nice what you did with the stock in the background, though it's a tad too realistic. Lovely lighting effect, neat!

I have had a serious crush on Asuka for, well, forever. I have to say, this wallpaper, its so great I may be brought to tears. I really want to say more, but, wow, it actually has me speachless.

Great job on the vector, very smooth and somehow it looks extra cool XD*cause it's asuka?* they railing looks good too. I had expected some pure vector buildings on the back, so....it's a bit pity. anyways, overall looking good, nice job.

Since the start I have been an Eva fan and Asuka is 1 of my favo chars, Love the scan and the background. It's really calm... maybe to calm.. But I like it somehow, this one is 1 of my favo's.

In a way, perhaps we can forget the Eva series and focus on the characters just being who they are.

Your wallpaper accomplishs this... 'course, can't download because I don't have any paper, but *shrugs* it's in my favs anyway.

i wish i could do this kind of stuff i am planning to a graphic arts school i hope i can be this good when i graduate of course i know nothing now. i'm just doing some self-teaching i just i wish i knew some easier ways to do what i learned.

The colouring and vector work is perfect. And like you said, it is very calm... the only thing is, the more I look at this wall, I'm unsure if she is about to fall over or not ;P

Amazing quality, and overall a kick-ass wall! I love the serene colors of the background --and that lighting! There really is a calming feel to this wallpaper; the combonation of the scan with the rest of its attributes is great, and it's Asuka! Cute scan, and a great background. If anything, the background seems washed-out behind the scan, but that could be used to create depth --- to some extent. The resolution is a little odd too (square?), but it is a reasonable effort all round.

....nothing bad at all to say about this wall. Everything fits amazing well. (Like all design elements should.) Even the realistic background contrasts nicely with the very nice,very sexy vector of Asuka. Great job.

I like how this wallpaper is very clean and the lines of the main character are crisp but it doesnt blend well with the realistic background in my opinion. It would be better if you gave Asuka a more painterly feel to match with the buildings in the back. But I like the concept neverless, good use of colors and highlighting

The vector's nice, but its not like we never saq a nice vector before. For this wallpaper; it's the background, colour-use and the subject which makes me say "+fav". Don't know the series or the character by the way.

Wow! It's so clean and it's an Asuka wall! I love how sharp and clear she is!

However she seems to stick out of the backround. Asuka, the fence, and the backround seem to be totally on different layers, I don't feel the immersion.

The vector is well done and is really sharp. The colors and lighting effects are relaxing, too.. I dig them so much Somehow the style contrast between the vectored Asuka and the stock houses behind her irks me. They don't quite match well although the stock is cartoonized. The angle of the text is matching yet a bit weird... since the viewing angle should be parallel despite the fence's perspective. Overall, a great job from you, but surely it can turn out much better. :)

I think its rather interesting that you chose to leave the background as a photograph. I also like the sepia tones you used in the background, makes me feel nastalgic, the wall has a light airy feel to it. Asuka looks so cute in this wall, great job with the vector!

Coolness. Like how the words are on the railing and how you made it look like the light is shinning on her. Most people forget about those details. The buildings rock and I like the whole mood of the wall.

Great image, and nice colors in the background. Her tilt seems off with the straight buildings, but overall cool.

When I first saw this wallpaper I didn't think I would like it, mostly because of the brown colour scheme as I'm not a big fan of brown. However, when I zoomed in for a closer look I saw that it is actually a very nice wallpaper. I'm not a big fan of Evangelion wallpapers but this one definately stands out above the rest. I'll add it to my favourites because it's already on my desktop! Great job! - Matt

This is in fact a great wallpaper. I must say I noticed these:

The clean cut vectorization of the scan, there are no unsightly edges over the lines, it is clean, nice, well done and very easy on the eyes, not like most vectors, eventually you will find that the colors are not as nice due to the rawness of it when applied to a wallpaper, you made this one well, the vector itself blends well with it, making it seem like a canvas.

The stock photo and manipulation applied is also wonderful, while it may not look like it is entirely well placed, it produces a sense of serenity, and quietness of a small town that is what you often see, it is pure and nice, like a wonderful picture, taken upon a tall place and viewing down to the wondrous beauty that it is.

I love the lights effects you made with this one, so peaceful so pure, I can almost feel myself being absorbed to the place where she is standing. The clouds and birds are well placed, not too much, not too little, it is indeed a piece of great work. My praise for this submission here. Faving it for sure.

I think this wallpaper is great, I have a little problem with the background, the banister don't look much natural, and the clouds could be more nitid where the sun light them. Otherwise, the vector and the composition are great. Good job.

Thank god for vectoring...I too have this poorly done scan but Im just using it for my art(hand done art)...but anyways its always ggod to see Azuka getting mors time devoted to her when it comes to projcts...you did an awsome job with the vectoring of her...the background suits the image very well too...with an image like this it would be hard to know what to put as a background, but you did very well. This is a amazing Asuka wallpaper, definitly one of the best arround. The scan of it compleatly smooth as previously mencioned, you can definitly see there is absolutly no flaws in what relates to quality; then the background fits perfectly with the scan, its very simplistic but tremendously well done. As soon as I saw this, I knew it would be a favorite. I love the lighting in the background; the rays of sunlight is ever so slight -- not too subtle and not too obvious. Furthermore, the scan of Asuka is lovely! I've never seen this scan before, so this wallpaper is refreshing, compared to all the other Evangelion walls out there. The only complaint I have (not really that big of a deal, actually) is the font for the text. I don't know why, but it just doesn't seem to click with me. I wonder, is the text even needed? Just a thought...

Well, this was my first impression when I saw this wall. I wanted to comment on it awhile back, but I had the flu at the time, so I finally got some time now to comment on this impressive masterpiece. First off I have to state that this is the best wall of Asuka I have ever seen, ever . I can't believe what you've done with this @&#95;@ and thus begins my long comment =S.

The scan. Wow *______* Very sexy scan of Asuka. I have to say that you did a marvelous job with vectoring the scan. I saw the original over at MT and I have to say that I bow down to your leet skills. I can't believe that you were able to work with it @&#95;@. Well, that's my personal opinion about it. It's a perfect scan for such a beautiful atmosphere and I can't stress enough how much I love this scan, not because of how sexy Asuka is, but the body language, just so expressive. Though, she always seems to be so =S.

Now, for the background. This is where this wall deserves the title of 'masterpiece'. Not only did you do a flawless job creating such a beautiful scenery, but the city is rather impressive as well. Not only do the colors perfectly fit and I have to say I love the sunset in the bg, but I have to say that this is probably one of the first decent railings I have ever seen. Though, I do have to agree in a sense that the buildings do seem a bit out of place, I personally like it like that. It's rather fitting and I really love the way it goes with the sky. The sky is surreal, just simply gorgeous and the birds were a very nice touch as well. Everything just combines together for a perfect fit and even though the buildings can seem somewhat out of place, I personally have to say that I love em'. I think they fit just right and I wouldn't change anything about them. Fantastic work there, Misu.

Wow, this wall knocks my socks off every time I look at it, which is probably why I have it set as my desktop right now. I cannot get enough of the goodness of this background. Even the text, though I'd still like to see a textless version =3, is just a perfect fit for it and I have to say that this is the first time in awhile that I've seen text on a wall that I really like. This earns my favorite and I can only hope that this beautiful work of art will be highlighted.

I really like this wall. I think you nailed the calming effect. The lighting effects came out really nice. The rays of light really add a nice effect. And I think that you're right, there is something about the scan image that beckons to be worked with. It's definiately one of the more interesting Asuka.

The only thing that I see that doesn't really strike me is the text along the railing. It just seems out of place in all the zend from the light.

I love the stylish pose of asuka and the sepian background houses are very nice! But the sky is a bit to low on the left side, doesn't seem right, i'd added some distant land to it. For me it isn't the most adquate background scene to go with her posing style, i'd rather use her standing next to a tall sea wall near a lighthouse, something like this http://www.waukeganweb.net/waukegan%20lighthouse.JPG but that's just my constructive critic opinion, doesn't mean i don't like that wallpaper, because i do!

Besides that i think overall, it's nice and simple.

WOW, this is a beautiful vector! I thought maybe it could do without the text, it's a minor gripe and does not really detract from the overall quality of this wallpaper.

Images like these add more the the Eva world in my opinion because it makes the characters seem more believeable, perhaps giving them more humanity (the characters in the show had some pretty deep problems, as many, if not all, of us know).

I'd have to say the sky really sets this wallpaper off. It works great with asuka for that cloudy sunset kinda feel to it.

Woah they still make EVA walls, really like the BG work the city and the sky very well balanced whit the actual image, i dont like the text in the wall (but then again i dont like text in ANY walls is a personal taste thing) but thats artist prerrogative and maybe is just me but the big cloud on the left looks a litte weird (altough clouds being ramdon atsmospheric phenomena can have any shape but there are a couple of rules they follow depending on conditions watch clouds on the sky ans see how they all have this ways and shapes that repeat like a pseudopattern) all the fuss whit the buildings is that there are a couple of perspective errors so the angling of one building dont correspond to the one next to it, try to study actual stock photos of real buildings an replicate the flow of the geometry to get the perspective right ( i learned all of this in landscaping class at artschool, im not much of a waller but i can handle myself very well whit brushes and oil paint) hope i was helpful, and really hope someday i can learn how to vector properly like you do

Lighting matches and everything. I like how the words follow the rail on the bottom left. The cloud shading is a bit different from the left and the right though, if that was the intended technique or not.

i've seen that pic of asuka in a wall, like, once so its good to see it used again. the background doesnt really bother me that much cus the setting and sky itself (sucker for sunsets and the like) are done nicely. definattly a fav.

I just love this shot of Asuka, and this wall does it justice. The backdrop gives off an exotic feeling, like she's off on vacation somewhere. Also, normally I don't like text on my papers, but the way you fit it into the picture just works nicely. Great job Misuchi, this one's definately going in my favorites! ^_^
