Hmmm I don't know, i'm not really feeling it. The original scan itself seems like a bad source to make a wallpaper from. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since I know you can and have made better wallpapers.

Hm, I like the image you chose to vector and wall. Don't know much about anything on Devil May Cry, but the concept emitted from this scene gives a viewer a bit to think on.. especially if that viewer, like me, knows nothing about the manga or game.

The colors were, in my opinion, very well chosen to depict and emphasize the scene's significance. Central blue for the character drawing an eye to a focal point. A red moon and red shadowing on the chair, and also the red moonlight that falls upon the floor in such a devious manner, urbane but dark all the same. Black and white for the curtains. Gray on the chairs and the walls.

Great job vectoring as well, and the text is intriguing- the message that's being conveyed. Obviously, I personally can't tell if it's a quote or just a simple paraphrase of a part of the character's story brought into the scene, but nonetheless, it's... provoking. Speaking of the text, however.. I don't know if it's just my eyes or me going insane, but I think there's a typo... "gonna" looks like it says "ganno" and, of course, as anyone can tell you, me being the "spelling/grammar nazi" that i am, it's bothering the crap out of me. Just a small heads up, and theperiodafter"try"shouldbeacommaaswell =x

But anyway, as I was saying ~ I also do like the font that you decided to use. I think it fits quite well into the wall, and ditto with the signature. I.. don't know how most people would feel about the signature being in the top left corner of the wall, however, seeing as that the majority of pc users have the taskbar hiding the signature, but honestly ~ I think it fits nicely into the wall as a whole and doesn't cause any bit of a distraction, so ~~~ just forget I say anything ^.~;;

Overall, nice job with the vector and the wall. I like how you chose to just leave the unvectored part of the image as white and extend the black shadow on the other side. It almost provides somewhat of a frame for the wall, and just the entire wall in general is pretty well-done. Props and keep it up. Looking forward to that saber wall ~

Hmm, this one's strange, and in a way unique. The colors you chose to vector the original scan is absolutely stunning. You have a good eye for things. It matches the vector, it matches the game, and most of all, it matches the character. If the original scan were to have color, your vector would have been it. The only thing I don't like is the text below the title of "I need more power," frankly, I see no use for having to darken the left side of the text, and lightening the right side. That just makes it annoying for me to read, despite the fact it looks semi-cool. Overall, very brilliant colors!

Ah a DMC3 wallpaper,very nicely done.I'm waiting for the second volume,which is the one you just mentioned.I really love the manga so far,I also just got the Special Edition as well.Anyways,really nice job.

I think it's a good choice of scan, the composition is superb, with the framing effect of the curtains and the sharp shadows. The colors are well picked to create a dark pensive mood, absolutely brilliant work!

I think it would've been better if you could've extended the curtains all the way to the left side >:3

oo same thought as flyindreams or maybe have ended it more smoothly? not all cut off ath the same area =x the folds and there's a black line on the top right...sorta =x i really like the texture you added to the colors tho^^

I don't know much about Devil May Cry but I like what you did with the scan. I love the colours used on the wallpaper which made it look really dark and dramatic. Making it a vector made it even better in my opinion. Keep up the great work!

The scan is a good source for inspiration, but it doesn't seem like you did enough to it. The curtains feel cut-off on the left. His evil shadow doesn't stand out as much in the wall either. Keep working on it.

ich liebe diesen Stil, daher gefällt mir auch dein Wallpaper so gut. Es ist wie in den Büchern und schon da haben sie mir so gut gefallen. Gut war, nicht alles mit Farbe auszufüllen. Das gibt dem ganzen noch einen ganz speziellen Touch.

Nya you should really download Illustrator and start doing vectors in that. Because while your vectors are well done, you're obviously lacking the right materials that Illustrator provides, and you aren't using the right techniques to do your vectors. I'll send it to you if you beg. Anyway, you did do a nice job on it, I like how you chose red, white, black and grey as your only colors throughout the entire wallpaper. The wallpaper seems too one-sided still because everything is on the right side, you should move it over to the left more to center it all out and then everything will be balanced. You kow what I'm going to say about that moon too, haha, SOME textures would've been nice, but its your choice. The wallpaper is overall a nice piece of work,You're using a heise draqwing for you avatar Yeah count on me to notice the non-important stuff. Anyway, the lines do look a bit sketchy but I still think it fits in with the style of the wall so for this it's fine. Though the curtains being cut off at the sides do look a bit strange. Nevertheless, good work overall. I've never used Illustrator, but from what OA and Brom said, I can believe. though in my personal opinion, the sketchy lines give it a sort of motion and style that help the intent of the wall stay true. All out it looks awesome. Reminds me of hellsing. Great job.

A very nice piece of art - in the middle. The curtains on the sides are kinda lacking though. Maybe they are tooo simple, and you cannot get on first sight what it actualy should display.
