Erm...I'm pretty nervous actually. Since I just got promoted to community waller, I feel weird. I need some external force to keep me in place. Can I ask for a demotion...?
Anyway, I'm going to keep this short. More information will be posted in my journal at the website in my signature.
Aqua was painted and vectored from...here's the scrap showing my reference and some "reconstruction lines". Some points I'd like to raise: I tried my best to keep Aqua's brilliant blue eyes, because that was one physical trait of hers that struck me the most. In addition, I did do shading for the hair shadow on the face, but for some strange reason the lighting kinda...cancelled them out. So there's a portion where it looks kinda flat, but I don't know how to correct it. In total, Aqua needed 273 layers.
I did say that I'd never paint clouds again...but here they are. I think I have gotten better...I hope. Taking into account feedback that my last attempt had them too blurry, this time I reduced Gaussian blurs and split the clouds into different "packs" so that it was easier to shade. My cloud reference is actually Dreamworks' logo (the one of the boy fishing on the moon).
Why "Bluebird"? Because in BbS, Hades calls her that. I find Hades' dialogue the most interesting, first in calling Terra "earthy" and Aqua "bluebird”. When I thought about it, somehow this image of Aqua and the Dreamworks’ fishing boy kinda merged and this happened. It also helps that I am rushing to finish more walls before schoolwork kicks into high gear.
Also...revision 2 has the bluebird proper. I don't really like the bird, but I am torn over whether to take it out or to leave it. So I just uploaded both.
Finally, credit to Adonihs’ painting brushes and Lady Victoire’ star brushes. I can paint clouds now, but stars are still beyond me >.<

Why ask for a demotion if the community thinks you're THIS good? You worked hard enough to gain that title. ^^v Don't be nervous. It doesn't mean you have to submit a wall every now and then----just keep being you and we'll still love your works. ^^v
Now, back to the wall----the reconstruction of the character is pretty neat if I must say so. Though her face looks kinda blank here. It's as if there's no emotion. I really like the fact that you made her sitting on a moon. Mind you, the whole BG is absolutely LOVELY. The clouds look really fluffy. Stars are pretty too. The colors are smooth and clean too. Overall, you've done a nice and simple (yet elegant) wall. <3

Oh!! More BbS walls. X3 Very nice job reconstructing her! I think it might look more interesting if her eyes were gazing at the bird, instead of showing a poker face. hehe. Keep on walling! Congrats on your promotion. :3

Thanks for the comments :) actually I just need someone to check my work. I feel safer if I get "external acknowledgments" via the AP approval process rather than checking it myself because I don't trust myself that much. I will work harder at the eyes in my next work (if I ever get to it, schoolwork is piling up already) :)

Nice job with the reconstruction.
The foot sample fitted in so well lol. Your clouds are pretty decent imo. They feel really fluffy.
The clouds look pretty close to the glowly crescent. The highlights on the clouds could be a bit brighter or you can add another layer of highlight on them.

wow this is very beautiful, is veri beutiful. exelent. I like the month, so shine and there are effects like the outer glow, yeah i like it. and that most makes me wonder is that such forms of cloud created by painting a canvas. unfortunately his character less so alive. but overall this is a very good work. good work friend. thanks for you share this wall.
