Death Note Misery Loves Company

What a unique style on the background, I really enjoy looking at it. The colors are great and the image of the character is excellent. I do read the Death Note manga but its been a month since then, so I dont remember his name. Great wall!

The scan is standing out in a weird way because of the extraction. It needs to blend more. You can feel what I mean if you look at the head part carefully. Bg is very rusting looking grunge...means great for me. Very nice use of text also; you could use a more attractive font though. But a very nice one nontheless.

Some comments but: - I agree with FuKu about the character blending thing, I think the character doesn't need to be as bright as he is atm, just a *tap* darker perhaps. - Not sure if it was from the scan, but his skin esp around neck and face looks a bit painted or fake or too smooth or something about it that bugs me .. Nice choice of scan though :) - The blood drops look a tad uniform to me. Like very little smearing or drips .. But overall the background looks absolutely incredible I reckon - how did you do it?? - Love the title and poem - perfect! - Wonder how it would look if he were to stand on the 1/3 rule power lines with the title/poem sitting on the opposing power line??

Little things - overall, 3 phrases from me - love it, love it, love it!!

I like the concept a lot. I think the image would have worked better if it was more consistant with the background. The background does seem to be a bit busy and the texture just makes the scan stand out a bit too well. However, there is definite skill in your work.

As usual, your wall has a complicated history behind it...^^;;

Anyway, just wanna say that I absolutely LOVE the background. It's so dark and abstract and the chaos suits the scan and mood quite well. Really love the blood and colors. Nice one ;)

The dark atmosphere suits Light really well! The "blood, weird abstract stuff" really gave the whole wall a very menacy feeling, very cool!

I love the grungey background, but my favorite part of the wall is the text... And I usually hate text. :P The wall really suits Death Note. The blood splatters don't look quite right to me, but that's the only thing I don't absolutely love about this wall.

There are so few Death Note wallpapers, that i get really happy when see a really good one that i like. its awesome. i love raito's stance especially and the colors of the background. great stuff.

wow, the background on this wallpaper is absolutely amazing. the grunge is crazy, i don't understand how people do such great work? but in any case the background reminds me of a rusted wall, with much depth...

Elegant, dramatic and grungy. Great concept also. I will agree that the background's a little busy though. Beyond that, however, I really like what you have here.

I really like it... I've always loved this image and haven't seen it used in a way that I would want to actually use as a wallpaper or something. You did an excellent job with bringing out the atmosphere incorporated with his pose. And I know some said it could be darker, but I like Raito like that.. it makes him stand out.

Never seen auch a dark, Gothic wallpaper from Death Note. It has such bloody and gory texture all blended in together caused a very neat and rare wallpaper. The effects are clean and simple, but very complexed and hard to understand. This wallpaper fills my soul with anger and sorrow. I sense something that makes me feel suffering. Very nice set of red, black, and orange. Keep this work and effort, Phoenix!

This is a great wallpaper of Light! I really like how you did the background and the lettering for the text that you inscribed. My only comment is that Misery was on the second like and loves company was the first, it wouldn't make sense if you read it like that. But its really well done! Keep it up! *adds to faves*

I think that the fact that Light stands out amongst the background actually works really well. The dark background sort of alludes to the shinigami idea. I also really like how you made what look to be blood stains on the background.

The background is distracting and vivid, not really something I'd expect from death note. It's still good for the most part, but, I just cannot shake the background out of my vision.

The background is very nice and detailed. I like the bloodstains, they create a really nice effect. Although at times the whole background can seem ever so slightly overwhelming and Light doesn't really stand out as much. But its still excellent. And I love walls that feature Light. <3 Very nice
