Solid Hell (wolf's rain revamped!)

must say the colors impoved greatly :3 also compared with the previous version,this has a faar better background,that gives a faar better atmosphere :3 as the last time,excellent vector job :P

WOW well i think i like this one better then that last one, but the last one was awsome as well^_^ I really like the sunset in the bg and everything else you did to make it better looks great, well Awsome job keep up the great work, +favs.

the bg changes are very nice, they add complexity to the composition. Mouth is better looking too. The negative part would be the clothes textures, mostly Kiba's shirt and that gray thing in the corner, a bit too apparent IMO

I like it a lot better than the last version, but I think the character of Kiba is missing. For me, Kiba stood for strength and protection, a strong will to get to their paradise no matter what. In the Cheza wall, I felt that the stained glass was a nice symbolism for her fragility. xD (or maybe I'm reading too much into things) I'm not sure how to improve it; maybe a wolf silhouette of Kiba? Not sure. >_<

Visually, the colors are nicer and Kiba's more centered than the last version. ^^; Great job!

:o much more dramatic! Kiba seems to pop more against the background with the addition of the trees and the warm hues of the moon, I actually like the title, it makes the wall seem more sinister and harsh. and I love what you did with my hand scribble, beautiful work <3

Heh, at thumbnail view it doesn't attract me as much, but at full view, this wall kicks some serious ass. :D The texturing is awesome. I don't know why you ppl are able to do grungey/textured wall so well. >_< No comment on the vector, it's that beautifully detailed, and precise. Plus the hand. The plants on the foreground really adds to the overall depth of the wall. Kiba really stands out strong. And the colors are just terrific. One thing that I'm not fond of is the text. LoL. Nothin' but the text. Not that I prefer it without one, but maybe a bit of typo won't hurt. Or some more artsy fonts. XD Anyways... great job again from you, Kalico. Maybe not the best Wolf Rain wall that I've seen (cough* Cheza* cough), but it's definitely one of the better ones. I'll put this in my favs.

Well it's surely good. That's a fact. Not up to the Cheza ones but still damn good. Only nitpicky thing as I told you is that the texture you used on the vines could be a lil less blurrish, but that's it. I still love it. :)

Wow..a lot better =X Honestly, I don't have really any complaints for this one >_< It's still kind of missing the magical effect, I dunno how you can seek and accomplish (I think I spelt it wrong, ah well) that. It's still excellent, don't get me wrong. Just missing that um...feel it had in your other WR wall =X Besides that, looks like I'll have to fave this too x_x

I think you did a wonderful job merging the scan with the background. And the background is wonderful too. I really like the color of the vines in the front, and the moon lighting the trees on the back. Love the sense of perspective. And all the colors fit really well. Sublime.

Ahhh this one is a lot better than the first... The background matches the character perfectly... Not only that but the vine now make sense... Awsome improvement on this wall...

I don't know, for some reason I liked the other version better, not that it takes anything away from this one, it's amazing in it's own rite. I really love the textures you add to these series of walls, both the Cheza wall and this one. Great job as usual~

are you doing some kind of series? 'cause this reminds me your other wallpaper - Delicate Paradise. I like this version much better since the background was a bit empty in the 1st work. The texture is great (I want it O_O), amazing work.

I cry because I haven't saw the 1st version. hue..hue..hue.. :( The wall is awsome, great, lovely, cool, ancient, beautiful, & wonderfull..oh yeah, & also grungy.. Kiba looks very cool!! I just love the textures you put, but the texture at the clothes(the white one) looks kinda wierd.. & awsome job to Evol for the hand!! The bg is very beautiful, & also lovely! What I love the most are the trees. I also love the sunset XD!! The textures are all awsome!! Looks like glass texture.. & the dark colors make this wall more perfect, alltough YOU COULD use some more brightnes.. The leaves are very cool!! The vines & others are also cool & lovely! This is a very cool wallpaper of Kiba(since Kibe is my favorite character from the show)...the stain glass look really gives this a very dramatic look to the scan you've placed here...not to mention the colors are amazing, the pose of the scan of him is ver fitting.

Very pretty! The vivid green in the foreground is a bit distracting, but otherwise it has a very nice mood and theme.

Didn't get to see your original one, but I like this one a lot. Maybe not as much as the Cheza one, but its pretty up there. Great job man

Like others have said, the only thing would be the lines on the vines. But I LOVE this wall, the style is great, and I like the overall look of it. It portrays the series very well. The texture is good, and the color choice is amazing, great wall! Keep up the good work!

good colors, good textures : a very good style

Yep, I still like the Cheza one most of your Wolf's Rain ones, though I can't complain about seeing more of the same style. The only thing that seems to look really out of place is Kiba's eyes. Somehow the blue seems too stark in comparison to the rest of the colours. The texture you've used for his shirt is also different in the way that it doesn't seem to match, but in that case it isn't that out of place I find. It causes an interesting (for lack of better word) effect.

I like it because it has the same feel as your other wallpaper, these are colors you use are simply amazing, great job.

Kiba's eyes are so intense! The dark colour scheme seems depressing, but those little green vines in the foreground are a little reminder of the revival of the world, a reminder of hope and rebirth, and are a little ray of sunshine to an otherwise somber and downcast picture. Very nice~!

This is just as good as your last I would have however tried to fix up his mouth somewhat and there is just a little jaggedness on his right arm where his sleeve is rolled up. Textures are phenomenal!

Very artistic, it seems a painted picture.

I would say overall nice job, but it would be a bit better if you added in a wolf shiolutte behind him somewhere in the backround

"Solid Hell" indeed. The way the series turned out was so depressing, especially in the OVAs. You captured the end of the series quite nicely with this slightly pessimistic wallpaper. Kudos to you!

Okay, I've seen this wall on the main page several times, and it's about time I commented on it.

This wall is great! It's easy to see why it's got an SS rating. The scan and the colors are very nice, and I actually like the fact that Cheza doesn't appear anywhere in the wallpaper. Great work!

I love the variation in textures. Very nice indeed. I do agree with Priseis in that the wallpaper doesn't really embody Kiba's function in the plot of the anime. Aside from that, it looks great, and in the end that's all that really matters. Only thing I would change is that Kiba's jacket's color is very similar to the sky behind him, and it is a little difficult to distinguish between the two. Very well done!

This one is really a gorgeous wallpaper, you did a wonderful job! I love the overall design, everything looks so perfect. The colour scheme is beautiful since it's very calming and close to the nature. Absolutely one of my favourites so far!
