Hello everyone, I've completely fallen with the vocaloid song "Just be Friends" by Megurine Luka, (a seemingly happy song, but will break your heart once you read beyond the lines) which gave me the idea of making this JBF wall the "IchiRuki way". ><

First of all, I'm really thankful to my AP friend, Horseradish who gladly approved my concept and supported me all the way by giving me helpful tips and techniques in making this wall and improving my vectoring skills (since I was always doing typo walls all this time). yay. XD. So,thanks a LOTTTTT JD! :))))

This is the original image I chose to vector. Then, I downloaded two scans to replace the characters with Ichigo and Rukia'sfaces. I decided to slightly alter these facial expressions (for example, Ichigo's twitched eyebrows from the original scan was modified to form a calm face, as well as Rukia's smirk turning to a soft smile.). Since Radish-kun told me that the balloons without line/border would give it a 3D look, I followed him right away. On the other hand, I also tried some PS tools to maximize the 3D effect, although I'm quite unsure if I used those tools appropriately, so please tell me if something looks awful with my vector.

Like I always say, I love simple works, but please let me know too if this wall looks plainly dull or downright simplistic (Like the BG, too spaciously white, nyaaahhhh). Other than that, comments, downloads, and faves are very appreciated. :)

great concept! when I saw this wall I instantly thought that it was from the artist "yunomi", but was surprised to see that it was a bleach wall..

You really did a simple yet cute wall.. hope to see more in the future.. keep it up!

I'd love this 100% more if there were smaller ..bouncy balls? /perspective that extended into "eternity" (or in this case, the event horizon).

Otherwise, it's clean and cute. B+ in my book.

At first I thought it would be a vocaloid wall, but I'm wrong! Still into IchiRuki ne? lol

Do you happen to change the proportion of their body? Because after I look at this wall with a bit concentration (as my mind likes to wandering around, lol) I think their head a bit... weird? For Ichigo it's not that much... but Rukia is. Her head still kind of not in the right proportion with the body...

Ah!

I know why I think there's something weird with them! Ichigo got a short leg, while Rukia's much longer. That's what makes it look a bit weird to me...

But don't listen to old me anyway, lol

It's still a nice and clean wall ;D

Absolutely love this! The simplicity of it, revision 2's pastel pink background looks greaaaaaat. I agree with earlier comments about the balls if they could be smaller so the colour of the characters stand out more, but great wall anyway!

Very nice vectoring work and I like the overall concept. The balloons have a very cool 3D effect, but eventhough your characters have shadows, they seem a bit more 2D compared to the balloons, and so, there is a disconnect between the elements of the wall. I would rally like to see more of a developed bg, maybe make stronger textures, or go for something scenic. Right now, even with the textured and colored bg, it's too plain for your awesome vectoring work! :)

I think this wall would pop more if you worked on developing the bg element. Still, a very nice start and again, great vectoring. Keep up the good work!

This is an adorable concept. She's a lot shorter than him, though - but I must say I love how they're both dressed to complement each other - in monochrome! Simple but lovely colouring.
