My entry for VectaDesu #10 - Anime Kermesse.
Done under Inkscape 0.48
Based on this scan:
Was pretty easy, only 2 annoying parts: the patterns, and the reso of the scan, I scaled it up x4.
Changes I did to the scan, was some subtle colors, additional shadows and colored outlines. Nothing special.
Hope you like it.
Edit: added bg-less version, I should have done that way earlier but was too lazy. :p

at least you are going away from the ground on takeoff but on landing you look like you are gonna crash right into it
but anybody with one eye, one arm, and one leg can get a driver's license
i bet if flying licenses were widely available and planes cost the same as cars
heres the thing though, planes have a safety check before each flight
and maintenance many times throughout the year.
also your chance of getting killed in a plane crash is much less than getting struck by lightening
you have even less chances of winning the lottery than you do of dropping dead at any moment

OMG I so almost did this one, but totally changed my mind. It's great to see it so well done. Good luck in the contest.
That sucks about the resolution I think I might have had a larger version for you to work off of. Sometimes if AP or MT don't have the right size I scour the inter net for larger versions of the same scan. If you ever need any help finding larger versions of scans let me know I'll be happy to help out.

Yes please do, I ended up doing that for a lot of members on crunchyroll when their images were way to small to even make decent avis from. I hated the feeling of working on uber small images so don't hesitate to ask.

Good job!
It's always a challenge vectoring from a low resolution scan. Details are hard to see and you always need to keep in mind the line thickness. The designs on her weapons and stockings are crisp and clean. I like the character design as well. School outfit but then there's a bit of sexiness with the stockings. Dat eyepatch also.

Finally you have done it mate! Even when it seems to be simpler, I can guess that taked a serious time to make a so upscaled vector to do, and also the pattern. Nice outcome, and we have again a Hyakka vector in gallery. (though the anime is nothing extra, just the characters are good :P) +Fav
