Happy Chinese New Year 2011 everyone.

Sorry a bit late to upload the wall, because need do a lot of housework when during New Year.

This time I try to created The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya wallpaper. And because this year is a Rabbit year, I decide to make them wearing the bunny clothe with some oriental elements (of cause the boys no need bunny wear).

Suzumiya is the title character, so I put the Chinese Dragon mark on her clothe. Mikuru clothe is the Phoenix mark & Nagato is Chinese Style Cloud mark, Koizumi is Chinese Style wave mark & Kyon is the Ancient Chinese money mark.

And about the BG, I try put the orange colour, because the colour represent good fortune in Chinese new year, and also it will easy to make the characters pop up.

About the title, I decide put some gold colour Chinese Wording, hope it will make the wall look more Chinese New Year feeling.

The most difficulty part is to design their clothe elements, it takes me a lot of time to modify them.

This wall really give its Chinese New Year feeling, especially with the Haruhi bunny girls, and it matches to this year of the Rabbit. What you did to their clothes was really creative, never thought of the idea. Nice idea. The way you place the characters, is just in place. Would love to see the scan(s) used though. The crescent looking thing, its edges are blurry, or was that on purpose. Either way, you present your work well!~

Really cute Haruhi Bunny theme! I like it because I think it's really a good idea to create a wallpaper with Haruhi, Mikuru and Nagato( It's pretty rare to see her dressed like that) dressed in bunny clothes for the year of the rabbit!
