This is really nice, clean, and simple----although, I would've wanted to see more (not just sure what it is though, hmm, some trees or birds or something maybe? The perspective's really nice but I wish you just went on with the shore in it rather than just the sky. But I must admit, the textures really give a nice tough to it. Also, the vectoring's crisp. The sun is kinda solid for me though (you could really make out the shape of it). XD

Anyway, since SUMMER'S just months away, this would really make a nice wall for it. :D

As I've been watching your progress on this one, I can definitely say that I prefer the girls clean, without any texture on them. How about placing the texture layer(s) beneath them, and see how it turns out?

Glad I waited before commenting when this uploaded. The 2nd revision is better with the expanded clouds. The vectors are really sharp and smooth. Great job adding in the extra characters to the original scan.

The sun isn't really working for me. It might have been better to just make it a glowing ball instead of expanding its corona out like that. It reminds me of a sunny side up egg lol.

The text looks weird too me, but then again you have a textless version. There is something awkward about the sun. You could try softening the middle of the sun a bit so it doesn’t look too solid. I’d also try to make its color less yellowish (more within the range of white-yellow) (example).

I’m not really fond of lens flares, but in this scene (because of the position of the sun) I’m sure you could get away with a subtle one. It might even add to the scene some “flair”. I’m just sayin’ that you could try it and see what it looks like (unless you already did).

Adding some water splashes might spice things up by giving the sensation that the girls are near the shore playing or whatnot. You could even randomly add some those splashes on top of everything (just like when a camera gets wet); without over-killing it with too much…

The birds-seagulls (as mentioned) could be a nice addition too (blurred at the distance) and maybe some palm trees (but I guess that would be too much + you could have to rethink about the water splashes idea and maybe even lighting depending on how far or close these palm trees are from the girls).

Anyway, keep it up.

I would say the text is just okay, only the fact that the last letter is covered a bit by the clouds, maybe a few percent smaller could it be. The vectors are simpler, but is compensated with the added character. You said in SB being not the best work, but I think is not that bad at all. Anyways is nice to see Infinite Stratos wall on AP finally, and even one with bikinis.
