Well this is unexpected. LOL. Usually, when I vector, there's a combination of painting and stuffs but I think I'm getting the hang of gradients and layering colors!!! <3 <3 <3

It took me about 2 weeks to complete this vector (counting the times that I got lazy, I was busy for school, ETC).

Orihara was vectored from this particular image:

As you can see, his clothes are all white. Well, I decided to color his pants and undershirt (with the hood) so that it would contrast nicely with the whiteness of the color palette. I went for the candy pink color that matches his headphones. This time, I really didn't use pure white on his clothes (because it would be typically boring----for my taste to be exact. LOL). ALSO, it kinda looks empty for me if I used just pure white so instead, I used linen white for his clothes. The other modifications that I did to the image was to change his phone (where his headphones is connected) to an iPod ('cause I own one myself). XDDDD The iPod's based from my own iPod. Other than that, I didn't use gaussian blur on the highlights and the shadows of my character----just colors, gradients, and layers. :D

Hmm... What else.....

Oh yeah! I extended the image a bit so that his left pointing finger is complete and not cut off.

Well----I guess that's it! :D

I was wondering if anyone would vector an Izaya since I love his two scans that are like this. It has a lovely way of pink and you gave it your own twist of pink. Nice! +fave

In this one I like in particular how you did the headphone, unfortunatly I don't like very much the scan/subject used ^^, but you did a good work ;D

Great vector! Not a fan of Izaya though, more of a Masaomi Kida fan myself. Still, great vector and nice modifications to the original scan!

yes! i saw it yesterday i think but i didn't comment it...aw so cool i love when people vector images...that means that maybe somenoe is doing a wallie with it...i hope so! this would be amazing for a wallpaper! i think its awesome! i like more the black one! :D great vector!
